  1. Some nice photos you are posting Josh and some lovely machinery too. I reckon you're pretty happy in the Blue'un. Nice Basildon tractors they are too.
  2. I look forward to seeing some more. I have not worked in forestry but the machinery fascinates me.
  3. Niiiiiice!!! Will you make a forestry diorama for this to be displayed in?
  4. Your Siku 930's look incredible, Benny. Nice round up of your new models
  5. The boys on Top Gear cooooing over that Maserati and the Aston Martin. Got to be honest, the Maserarti is making me a little bit aroused too!!!!
  6. Same as the Challenger that David tracked down.
  7. Bales look good, Paul. Worth the effort to add a bit of texture to the Britains ones. I love that Fortia, a superb looking model and machine in 1/1. Nice updates again, it's the model farms on here that are showing more going on than the real ones with the lovely summer we are having \
  8. Snow? Ol have you got snow and you're not taking pics for us?!! I got up at 12.30 after getting into bed at 04.30 this morning. Laid the 15 450x450mm slabs for the wheelie bins and log store to stand on, jumped on here for a little while and now Traci has some home made burgers under the grill. Good girl!
  9. That's a nice fleet there. Some lovely shots as well. How did the accident happen? Too fast? Uneven ground? Both of these?
  10. It's a shame they only came in day cab rigid spec to be honest as they are a nice model with full door frame and nicer wheels than the New Rays. You'll notice the side panel moulding does not quite match but it's minute detail for a nicer model once done. I'm not all that experienced with paint though to be honest, I reckon you'd make one of these look the ball licks. White seems a hard colour to do but from what you have done in white you make it look brilliant.
  11. Go ooooooooooooooon . .. .... you know you want too!!! 1 Newray 4 series + 1 Automaxx T cab = Voila.
  12. T cabs are possible. I've done one as has the two Marks - 4C and 4055power
  13. Casting the front wheel/tyres would be the best bet. I have asked people to and had big fat No's come back and Siku won't sell them as spare either, tried that too! Off to Google Frank Hudson now :)
  14. Flipping ace!!! 7810 looks right as home in there sheltering from the lovely August drizzle we seem to be having right now
  15. Great (as we come to expect from you!) job with the paint, nice and glossy and plenty of depth too. I see John Dickenson trucks around a lot on my travels, especially around the ports. I can't ever remember seeing a 4x2 Scania though Nearly always DAF, MAN or Mercedes and 6x2's midlifts.
  16. I buy mine from EMA and from a local model shop which has extensive Plastruct and Evergreen products. Mandy of Hollylouestoys attends many uk model shows which is handy as you can look at the products in your hand rather than on a page or screen. I built the shed she uses as a demo on her website
  17. I drove back down the A420 the other day and was amazed at the Lexio terra-trac's parked up in full view of the road!
  18. Yeah that's where I was based, Chris. Avonmouth has it's cake spread along the M4 and M5 corridors with smaller sewage treatment works filling in the land between. We used to tip and later spread up as far as Salperton Estate in the north, Shrivenham in the east, Warminster in the south and Weston Super Mare in the west. Very busy time I had there and with Agrivert before hand in 2002/3.
  19. That'll be my old gang, Chris. 08 plate 7530's? Wessex Water put the job back out to tender and Dampney (Dorset firm who already had southern contract area) took the contract and on and all the kit too. I think I know the estate but the name isn't quite on the tip of my tongue. . .. this may be them in 2008 working down sludge cake I'd just spread.... When will you hear back from the estate?
  20. I've got a lot of time for that, Thomas. Very nice indeed. What are the dimensions of it, or maybe a photo with a tractor in it to see how it goes size wise?
  21. The spring if it has one may well be in the back, same way as a Bunning spreader Mark. A leaf spring, half in the drawbar and the other half out the back hung from the chassis/frame. Thanks for updating the topic, Tommy. Looks like a nice enough trailer. Bigger strap box wouldn't have hurt mind. I have see one or two like this around now so they must have built a few over the last couple of years. :) I also notice LED side markers but no front corner markers I'd like to see some of the back too when you can buddy
  22. Saw loads on the go around Chatteris today, MF865, Lexions, Case AFX and Axial Flows', a lovely TX36 and even an MF7276? Saw a mint 2680 hauling grain near Buckingham and then back towards home the New Hollands were out in force, nearly all were CR's and a Case AFX too.
