  1. well look at this. i bought it off ebay for £2.50 it will end up in a model scene but not sure what one at the moment
  2. thanks. its the response i was hoping for thanks, the tanker is a superb model, so much detail like the real thing and i know from working with the exact tanker at poplars. everythink is perfect on it
  3. well i was going to post it when i had finished it but now wiking are doing one i might aswell post it on here ive got to order some decals for it and then it will be complete, oh and add the hydraulic pipes
  4. ive just been on the john deere website and looked at their loaders and to me it looks like it will be the 753 loader going on the 6930 as it looks like it is the only loader in there range to fit on it. leys hope its a decent model and will it have different attachments as that would be superb
  5. well the tanker arrived today just awaiting the injector for the back of it its a superb model with so much detail to finish of the setup ive added a pto to the tractor and im going to get some DALES logos made for the jd then its done
  6. i know a few farmers with 6930 jd's as loader tractors. i dont care what it is i will definatly get one but it would be nice to have detailed smaller john deere such as a 5100R with loader i wonder if they will do the door correctly on the john deere this time with the little window behind the door
  7. ive got my tractor driving test date through only 1 week after booking it. its on the 4/3/11. its an ideal time as only 11 days after we are making a start on the spud plant so i will be needed to drive on the road to get to the fields for bedtilling
  8. thanks. the bale handler was built by ciaranscar on here. he can make then to fit any loader you want
  9. thanks mandy. i had also been wanting a snow scene for a while and i thought the new holland was an ideal tractor for it. the best thing is that the snow spray i have used can be brushed off with a toothbrush so i can always change the tractor in the scene. i am presently experimenting with lots of materials ive brought but not got round to using such as you lavender flowering material. im still not sure where to put that yet. any ideas are welcome
  10. thanks. i myself feel that i do better with scenes as well as they are on a smaller scale so you can put more detail into them
  11. im going to have a jd 6930 on the joskin with the ros injector in the back being filled from the side as we used to do it.
  12. this will be a slurry lagoon when finished. i just need to colour the base and get some moedling water. i have added a fence to the loading side to reduce risk of my model farmer falling in but for easy filling there is a gap in the fence for the pipe togo through but a safety chain has been added to stop the driver falling in again
  13. thanks. believe it or not ive almost built the second scene now and i only started it 2 hours ago using scrap materials. i will post some photos in about 30 mins.
  14. thanks. thats the idea with making them. i love building model farms but it go so expensive changing them so it didnt always look the same. scenes are cheaper, can be done any size you want and you can have what you want on them. the next scene im working on will be the new joskin tanke from uh being filled up next to a slurry lagoon.
  15. i used snow spray. i typed it in on ebay and loads of results came up. i bought 3 cans to be safe as its a big board ive done it on.
  16. thanks graham i had to do it due to us having the cold weather recently. im going to try and get some slush in the wheel arches of the landrover aswell to give it a bit more realism
  17. im about to start another model scene that is using the same kit as i have used when working at poplars, pictures to follow
  18. uh joskin tanker ros joskin injector land rover discovery3 police conversion
  19. id love to go but unfortunatly calnt get travel up there so take lots of photos guys who are going
  20. thats not what i was doing tim, not going to talk about it now. and look what else they had on the farm, a really tidy old cubicle shed of which they had 2 of these
  21. its on the contractors small dairy farm where im doing a bit of work for the moment, it holds 8, its like a real version of the britains model. they have beef cattle now and 90 acres of arable that JRO are planting spuds on.
  22. on another subject look at this parlour, it was great working in it this morning
  23. im gonna wrap it up there, i only did 2 tank loads and it only ended up in the field and the photos has been removed as i dont want anybody getting into trouble anyway some photos of other kit in the yard
