Thats alright, i didnt really think there would be many we didnt know about but, as i said, it was worth a shot.

I wouldnt know about prices but i know of a few farms around here who grow wheat for feeding. We dont ourselves though. Ours comes from two suppliers: Mole Valley for in the parlour and A.Nichols for outside with the silage. The outside also gets mixed with some high energy pellets that come in 25KG bags instead of bulk. The outside is also mixed with a little seaweed (another supplier for that) and fed to all of the youngstock in the mornings. it may seem a faff to some of you, possibly the non farmers, but it seems to work well. A downside is that there are a lot of reps to keep in touch with which can waste time at silage/straw time when theres a lot to organise and keep track of.

Whats your latest Farm/Construction buy 2011
Tommy Gough replied to Gav836's topic in General Hobby Discussion
I didnt think, when i set off for the somerset vintage and classic tractor show, that id see one of these for sale. it was snapped up very quickly. Question How much were they suppsoed to cost? -
Altough they are, without denying, a toy manufacturer, the pictures I've seen of the 2011 releases make it look like they are listening to some of the collectors out their and adding a bit more detail. That picture of the JCB look great but now I'm scared of getting it as it might not live up to my expectations.

Happy Birthday
Tommy Gough replied to THEBRITFARMER's topic in General Discussion / Off topic discussion & Everything Else
As the others have said: Happy birthday mark. and to anyone else i've missed recently -
I always thought that but I guess when the first remote controlled tractors came out the technology for small, working flashing lights might not have been there. As technology advanced they found it easier to do and put it in the lorries. It would be nice for the new tractors to have it though.

It looks like the receiver that was used in the infrared tractors. I'm wondering if the picture is of the old claas infrared model.

Same for me. not sure this year will be a safe spending year as originaly planned. Also find it a bit strange that they are bringing out 2 different self propelled sprayers.

Yeah its not bad but one of the sliding doors needed sanding down as it didnt fit in its groove. No but i think myself lucky that i dont

The mechanism is to transfer the weight of loaded trailers to the rear axle for better traction in wet conditions. I would guess that Lord F would have more information from his vast collection of leaflets and literature.

At our school there is a girl who is home schooled but has to come in for exams. This morning some people (including her) had a chemistry exam. about halfway through she must have decided that she didnt need to be silent like the rest of us and she decided to start clicking her pen. one of the exam invijilaters told her off but she kept going. When told off again she declared, atthe top of her voice that she was bored and didnt need to listen to a 'boring old **** who couldnt get a proper job'. :ofShe then proceded to get out her phone and have a loud conversation with a friend. This caused her to be removed, but to make it a bit better, we were told that 5 marks would be added to our final score for that paper because of distractions.
