The Doe tractor in question isn't a genuine one. More a contemporary "improved" version of the Doe 130 christened the Natco 130+ from John Hayward and his team who have created a number of Ford / Fordson based specials in recent years.
The front skid unit is an industrial example sourced from an old Whitlock digger whilst the rear unit is a genuine agricultural specification Ford 5000. The front half of the tractor is powered by a 401 4 cylinder turbo charged engine whilst the rear half is powered by a turbo charged Ford BSD 666TI motor that alone delivers 190hp.
Thanks for sharing your photographs Tommy. Some very interesting equipment on show.
Cheers for that info, i didnt think it seemed like it was genuine. A few people from college were having a debate about it on the way home and it never got settled properly so I think that information will come in handy. Thanks.

oh and the doe, dont know if you noticed, the rear unit was a 6 cycinder and the front was a 4 cylinder
Ah, no didnt spot that. Cheers

And finally this:
Havent seen a triple D in this style and colours before. Can anyone shed any light on if its just a change of colour by an owner or a genuine doe machine.
If anyone has any more pictures feel free to post them up.

How does a swing plough work then, apart from 'swinging' obviously

Absolutely brilliant work Thomas

We had a 4m one at Lackham when I was there, don't know if was git rid of in their clear out or not. I also know of a 6m Vicon variant which was bought on eBay for under £700 and in first class condition. It's a well liked drill for lighter or well worked seedbeds.
I'm pretty sure the one at Lacham has left but they have a 4m vicon one similar to that style that just gets used around the workshops.

Haven't got one at the moment but I blame John Deere for that. Got given one every year since we bought our 6220 but haven't received one this time. That said, I do like the look of the Saturdays one featured above.

Well done, Tommy. Do you have a picture of your calf?
Sorry Mandy, not those ones

Found out today we got two second place results in the Christmas calf show that our calf market holds. Not quite as good as what we achieved last year but not too bad considering we went expecting anything.

Agree with you entirely Jordan you cant get Kuhn into correct alignment, its more of a land scraper than a plough
Funny you should mention that because my uncle worked for a contractor who brought real version of the Kuhn plough and that was a pain to set up so that it pulled properly.

Interesting topic its amazing as to the number of variations. In addition I have never seen those Deutz sets.
Funny you should mention that as I was going to ask people on here if they knew anything about them.

No, sorry Mark. That was one of the last stands we got to and by then we were running out of time so didnt have much of a chance to get any pictures. The crowd around the new 7600 range was also pretty big so it would have been hard to get some pictures from all angles.
