  14. if you would like some great advice from a professional photographer ,,,,yes me ,,amongst my other traits ,,,sorry to sound big headed,,, canon,,,, canon,,,,, canon,,,,,all the way for me all soft wear is available on there own web site free down load,, no matter what system you are running on your computer ,the canon cameras come with there own editing suite witch is very good easy to use ,, even the very basic lower end priced canon cameras usually come out in the top 3 for price and performance,,,David our ftf paparazzi is very right in that megapixels are not every thing in a camera quality unless you are printing pictures to go on the side of a bus,,,,,i would go for shutter speed, 5-10 megapixel ,,image stabilizing and optical zoom (not digital zoom)if i was looking for a point and shoot ,i use a canon sx220 power shot for every day or back up it is small compact and i have had fantastic results from this like camera ,but this will be out of your budget unless you shop around and get a better deal ,all my equipment is canon from my large format printer ,scanners ,video camera ,flash guns ,DLSR 5d mk2 and 5 high end lenes and none has ever let me down,,when ever you see the paparazzi what cameras do you see,,,canon 90% of the time,,my only advice is you might be better spending i tad more money on a camera hope this helps
  15. after the penrith show last year i was approached by Harold powlton ,Lynne whitehead and Paul whitehead and a conversation took place about doing some thing for charity ,so i said i had no problem with this because of the connection Chris whitehead had with the model world ,,,, so my donation for the charity is that i have done this wiking fendt 936 in pearl white paint work and it is just waiting for stickers . it is for the CLIC Sargent children's cancer charity raffle tickets and more information will be available here on this feed or from Harold powlton and you can contact him on 07967510202 Harold will be taking this tractor around the up and coming shows over the next 2 months to raise money for the charity so i am sure you will all put your hands in your pocket and support this very worthy cause the raffle will be drawn at the Chris whitehead memorial show on the 29th April 2012 http://www.clicsargent.org.uk/Home
  16. transit vans are still the back bone of britain (the good old transit as they say ) as you know Mandy i am in the motor trade for the money you have to spend that is probably your best bet to be fair ,if you start looking at other things like mercs and vw for that budget you will be looking at vans with higher mileage on and that is really what you do not want , the vw and mercs are no longer deemed as the most reliable vans any more ....please do not listen to any one that says as long as the vans have been serviced the high mileage does not matter total crap the rest of the van like the breaks ,suspension and gear box has also done the high millage ,,,,,,may be worth looking at vauxhall vivaro, nissan primastar or Renault traffic these are the same van with 6 speed gear box they great on fuel the 100dci or 115dci or for a bit more money the new shape Citroen dispatch or the Peugeot expert 2.0 L hdi like i have ,these are great on fuel ,both these two style of van drive like cars ,,,,do not consider the Citroen or Peugeot 1.6 hdi ( these will not pull the skin off a rice pudding ), hope this helps and not confuse you more
  17. i am now just about on top of my stock ,with some new bonny coloured tractors i have been on with ,,,,a new venture on tractor and machinery decals ,,,my last count was 6500 decals on stock :of ,,,my wife is sick to death of them ;D i have my reservations on this show but""" hey ho """as they say""" you have to be in it to win it """"",so i will be going down there for a few days with a break included also just so i can recover after all these late nights ,
  18. if you need decals for that i can help you out ,cheers peter
  19. number plates are next on the agenda ,i will be getting them set up so i can do GB ,IR,SCO and EURO ,just the siku ones look naff ,i will be doing private plates for tractors as well, there will be some pictures of tractors to go on the vans but not on the truck
  20. i have been researching case trucks ,delivery trucks and came up with nothing exciting at all (white trucks just with case on "BORING" i say ),so i have done my own take on this ,i tried to keep the tractor colours on the truck
  21. you will find out when i get hold of it ;) ;)
  22. i can't wait to get my hands on alllllll of them ,,,yum yum bubble gum ,,
  23. all the problems are the same hear at my end as well ,must be ebay :(
