they are made from lead hand painted 1970 - 1980s and there is a bit of a story behind them ,I would like to see if any one else can tell me about them as well ,,,or were they from ,,who made them to see what I have been told is correct -

you can remove the front grill from the siku one and put it in to the wiking one and the same goes for the top vents ,i think the bonnet parts have been swapped by mistake from the factory ,as for it been wiking quality ,,,not to the same standard as the older models wiking have produced ,,in fact you could give a child one and i dont think it will come to any harm ,,i have taken both these toys/models apart wiking and siku ,most of the parts are the same or interchangeable ,,any way off to the paint shop with the ones i have striped down ,,no time to chat
-
i have a bit of a soft spot for these older fendt models ,my next one is going to be a lot better and i will add the full rear linkage from a wiking model
-
just some thing i have been messing around with ,need to glaze the doors ,uk number plate ,some other bits and bobs ,might put a front loader on

you southerner's just don't like snow ,,,,this time of year us guys from up north would have took some snow shoes with us if we were going up mountains ,,,or a good set of boots,,, you know ,,,them ones you said looked like the boxes they came in ,,,these bad boys would have got you through the snow in four wheel drive style ,,,
-
i do some strange stuff as you all know ,,,,,but what the hell is that man ,,,,no not a chance ,,,,even for me that is just ridiculous,,,,,on the other hand i just might do a brown valtra with white dots and stick a red bobble on the front of it and call it the rudolf edition
-
wow i do like them ,,,they look real y good,,,would like to see some painted but even in resin they look good ,,,what size are they and are they for sale or just some thing you are doing for your self ,they are some of the best i have seen it must have taking you ages to make the masters ,,,,

come on boys did you not know that ,,,pantone ,,,RAL,,,along with BS (British standard) colours you can get these from ,,halfords,, these are set colors that if you pick a colour from any of these range they should be available to get in any make or type of paint ,even home base ,B&Q in house hold gloss or emulsion halfords mini mix is ok ,but i would find a motor factors that do aerosols to be more accurate ,as for the link on scalemodel paint good idea but you are looking at a computer screen and every ones computer screen has different resolution so the colours displayed will be different,,paint colours should ONLY be checked from colour chips / swatches and checked inside and out side for lighting hope this helps
-
to take the bonnet off you just need a long very thin screwdriver ,from the underside slip the screwdriver up the underside of the bonnet and give it a small sharp knock with a small hammer and the bonnet comes off with no drarmer than you can get to the last screw to release the cab , hope this helps
