has to be a 135 as my all time great , really gutsy little tractor.
Probably go along with that, Marcus, but with a cab it would have to be th MF 3000s - big jump forward.
-
Probably going to get slated here, but I don't remember any TEs and 35s with PUHs most used the 9 hole bar or swinging drawbar. Mainly because the pivot was too far forward and the implement would foul the tyres. This was worse with stuff like discs which had stays from the drawbar to the outside of the machine.

So was that the sales pitch with Fanny? 'Luxurious, ultimate in comfort, operating ease'

Nice collection Bill, I quite like that Leyland . A friend of mine has one or two (well a few!) he started off with the Dexta and drill plough and went from there

That's an absolutely stunning piece of work, how do you find the patience to repeat all those small parts, and with such accuracy.
I can only second that!
Simply superb.

Messing around with drains and streams. Everything is pretty much awash here

the trailer i use at work is a rearsteer, great for manuverability. it can get in the tightest of yards within reason, but getting in isn't the problem , it's getting out again that causes the headaches ,
when farmer says ARTIC OK , i'm wary , the milk artics are ok to get the milk , but feed bins arn't where the milk tanker has to go
We had a standing order 'No artics' when sheep feed was delivered, as the little yard wasn't big enough to turn an artic - until one guy cruised in with a rearsteer and just swung round in a oner.
the worst one is the small ifor williams that my mate has ,its about 6ft long and turns very fast
I hate little trailers like those that just disappear from your wing mirrors.

Got a new optical mouse for Christmas - plugged it in today but the thing has a mind of it's own Tried it on 2 PCs, so it's going back

I think the advert was 'If you manage to bend a tine we'll replace it free'
They were tough as old boots.

About time you did some 'serious' work although that isn't too serious.

Just bought one of these, lovely model. I'm not that clued up on Valtra's, but is the little handwheel at the inside rear of the cab for reverse drive?
Yep, it is - also the bulge on the back of the cab for knees/feet.
-
I may well have that for my cabinet actually :D :D
It does look like a one-off.........
-
Odd jobs, but as of now I'm officially ready for Christmas......

The annual pilgrimage to the accountants, then setting up broadband connections.

Happy birthday Traci - I hope he bought you something lurvely.

Thanks everyone for your kind words of support, its very comforting.
Been to seen dad today and he's started to come round a bit and trying to talk, but a lot of it is jibberish, hard to make sense off. All he wanted to know about was his SHEEP ha ha!
My father had a stroke too when he was 50 ish but came out of it unscathed, and went on for another 30 years no problem. It is a worrying time, but it's really a waiting game, so I hope progress is good.

Another set of great pics Marcus. At least you have taken photos, I never bothered as I didn't realise that they would be come 'classics'
-
Now that is a class bit of building.

Pretty good, I wonder how they managed to keep the same lift capacity.
