  2. 3115, may be of interest to Martin as well
  3. As Marky is talking about getting a tractor i offered to go to my local tractor dealer to see what he had and i think i may have hit the jackpot. I took pictures so i thought i'd post them up so you could all have a look at them First H reg 399
  4. Not so much with an older tractor as the seals will be worn in more, new seals are more likely to suffer from a memory effect and leak. Got to be old in my opinion
  5. well i can take care of the ploughing bit but i think you would be better off with going for the older tractors first, why spend all that moey on a ew one just to sit in a shed somewhere not being used. Not being used could cause all sorts of trouble in the long run, especially with oil seals \
  6. stop? our contractor and most of the 6 row operators all unload on the move along with some of the smaller boys as well. What annoyed me? A slow puncture in my trailer that required me to go back to the yard to get it plugged
  7. 3 David Browns lifting sugarbeet with a Standen Rapide, hope to get some pictures tomorrow as i'm carting to that farm again. Also 6 row Matrot with MB Trac and Renault carting, Agrifac 6 row with JD and Bailey Beet Heaper carting
  8. One big problem with those drills- you might as well put them in the barn when it gets wet underfoot because from the experiences we've had with them and the Simba type they get well and truely bogged in and take a lot of getting out in those conditions. We had to fill a hole in with a 3cx where i used to work where his Simba got stuck :D
  9. Carting Turkey muck again, another 2-3 weeks of it yet. You get used to the smell after a few hours \ :D
  10. Mucking out and carting turkey muck off a Bernard Matthews site near Norwich. 3 Wiedeman loaders, 4 Lorries and my tractor trailer on the go + 1 artic lorry from the powerstation at thetford
  11. Not as yet but soon hopefully. The Joskin harrow is next on my hit list, as soon as i get my hands on one it will have a seeder fitted and i'll go from there
  12. Updated pictures of the simba conversion, now resprayed in genuine Simba paint and complete with decals thanks to Ricky
  13. That would be my guess too Sean, scatter the seed on top then press into the surface
  14. Thanks Sean. At a guess i would say you could put OSR on with them along with grass seed or stubble turnips. Opico do show a seeder fitted onto a set of rolls on their web gallery so its an optional fitment.
  15. Thanks Martin, there's at least one more to come yet at soon as i get my hands on one
  16. Still a little bit of tidying to do but i'm quite pleased with the result
  17. I undertook fitting one of my seeders to a set of siku rolls after i was asked if i could by a member on here, after a bit of searching i managed to find a set, damned things being discontinued now Seeder and pipes along with hydraulic hoses fitted
  18. Been making up simba solo's with seeders all day, at least i was in the warm
  19. That harrow does look very good and well made, but i have an idea of how to make an improvement to it..........
