  1. It did have the right oil in it, there had already been one case of an exploding intercooler on this model of combine locally this year
  2. The dealer said something about a dodgy intercooler, didn't appreciate me asking where we have to shovel the coal in :D
  3. Would you buy a combine that smoked like this on demonstration
  4. My work mate took these last harvest of a JD we had out on demo, i was driving our Lexion at the time and would not give this the time of day, we ran out of coal for the engine in the end, we swear it was coal fired :o :D
  5. last one, if you want any bigger copies of any of them let me know as the originals are nearly 2mb in size

    Valtra N121

Looks a good tractor John, how's it compare to the Renault?
  9. I'd love to but i don't think our chap will buy anymore new tractors now with 2 years until he retires, let alone a Claas although he has been a Renault man for 20+ years, the last one has been a bit of trouble \ If i can find a way i will though
  10. Even i have to admit that the Hexashift Ares i drove was a lot better than the Quadrishift one so i think its a step froward in arable terms but maybe not for other areas of the industry And before anyone gets carried away with numpties Hexashift is the Claas name for Dyna-6 and Quadrishift for Dynashift
  11. Lets not start this one up again, i can still remember the last time it got brought up :D :D
  12. Yeah no probs, i know he usually has some old ploughs and it was the yard where i took those pictures i posted on here the other week
  13. Fancy coming further up this way and having a root round my mates yard Marky
  14. weeeeeelllll i won't do any on the seeders as thats something you'll need my castings for but i'll have a think about it and see what i can come up with
  15. I've never been able to get on with brass myself and find Plastruct and styrene sheet alot easier to work with, its cheaper as well, just depends what you want to do with it at the end of the day
  16. This one is a fairly straightforward and quick one, all in all it took about 2 hours i should think
  17. Managed to find you some pictures Sean, hope these help
  18. Thanks, just a nice simple one that anyone, even the new people to conversions could do to start with, just changing the wheels makes a big difference i think
  19. This is the finished item, all pipes now fitted and paint job done on it
  20. I bought the wheels off Farm Models at Spalding Thats very true, fast running out of space to put everything now though \ Thats actually where i got the initial idea from, then when i started using the one at work i thought i'd give it a go on the Marston Silage trailer
  21. Looks good Tris, don't forget to put 1/32 scale cat paw prints in it as the little beggars always seem to find wet concrete : :D :D
  22. compared to the real one its near enough for my liking
  23. As wellas the Tim i've also given the Britains Marston silage trailer a paint job, Richard Western decals and a set of Trelleborg wheels in the past couple of days. Just wanted it to look similar to the ones at work, don't think its too far out
