thanks for that Gavin, makes more sense now!, i can see the chain and arm and actually picture it in my head....off to make some mods
Not a problem, always helpful to see a picture of something before you try to make a copy of it in any form

The nuts rounding off that hold the shock absorber turrets on on the front of my Land Rover, another job for the garage to do

At least the back ones were easier to do

This is a close up of the chain which links the 2 pick up arms together. As the plough arm picks up one of the press arms it pulss round from beside the press to the front of it. As this happens this chain drags the other arm round from 90 degrees to the press to the side ready to be picked up at the other end of the field.

Nice to see you're benefiting from the craze, no wonder you're so happy! Could get 2 of them for that!

Check this one out, its amazing what some people will pay just to be one of the first to have a new release
:o

I've only ever seen them at a demonstration as well, think they may still be fairly new out so have yet to catch on, no doubt have a big price tag to match the drill though

Nice pics Mart, makes our pump look like the piece of crap that we all know it is. It's only half the size of that one and has had half the bits nicked off it over winter

Thanks Marcus... Had the meeting with them today... a new Telehandler is about ?21k
- The truck he is trying to sell me is a Mitsubishi... which is about ?13k... going to have a look at one of those next week... got the Telehandler until Thursday for anyone living nearby who wants a play (Ben
).... Jury is still out on the telehandler... artic pulled up today and we were his first 4 pallets... they are 4ft in from the back... normally its hassle trying to tow them off with a chain (or fart about with the pallet truck)... JCB was boom out and pull them back - HEAVEN... except with the boom half out and a pallet of tomatoes it nearly tipped the thing up on end... the lift gauge thingy was beeping at 100%
- If we get one we need the 3.5tonne one I reckon... and I think that is bigger still
- We have left it with the saleman to do some figures for me (we still owe ?5k on the old Daewoo he tells me
:o
:o)
Will up date you all when I have some more news - thanks for your input though you lads
- I do appreciate your comments... as I'm a pillock and I know little or nothing about them
Thats the best way to operate a telehandler Marky, when we load our grain up ours is always beeping at us, no point in taking half loads. I've had the back wheels waving 4 feet in the air several times on ours

Blimey thats a tidy 4610 for it's age! A credit to its former owner for certain, they must have polished it every week and kept it indoors all the time. I take it that its been a local tractor all its life then has it Cameron? Should give you years of reliable service if you look after it well

Another great pic there Luke, nice threatening sky in the background again

Yes they also make fork trucks, don't know if they are badge engineered for CAT though

to start with you need to re-size the images so they are below 115kb, once you have done this click on the additional options tab in the post reply window. Click where it says browse and find the appropriate file on your computer, select it then click on post and you should then have a pic on here. Hope that's of some help

Have you tried the Toyota trucks Marky, my late father used to sell them alongside Sanderson's and they always looked like a good machine to me, they used to sell several of them
-
i use mine for carrying the girlfriend when she's getting fed up not seeing me due to work, all helps the day go by
