  1. Nice pictures buddy. What make is the plough, looks like a sturdy bit of kit.
  2. Nice tidy outfit. Please tell me you weren't running them back to the heap singley though. \
  3. Great pictures Rich. Sure the insect wasn't a dragon fly and the bird a kite?
  4. You do release it costs like £150 to get in for the weekend though. :P
  5. Spread all of the grass I mowed on Friday and yesterday. Rowing up and baling tommorow.

    Spud Growing Help

Basically I have been given a 2 acre paddock to graze, however it's right next to a pikey encampment, so obviously darn't put stock in it, so instead I've made hay of it the last few years, however I fancy a change for 2009. The plan is to have a late crop off of it this year, spray it and plough it up. I fancy doing some spuds in it and I really have no experience in this field what so ever, so any help in what machinery to get would be greatly appreciated, however I don't want to spend a busting lot as it's only 2 acres by the time I've taken 2 dog legs out of the field, which I shall keep grass, as with the perimeter of the field, which will all be topped regularly to look smart. Thanks in advance.
  15. Yeah I can imagine. Thanks Marky, I am looking forward to it, as it'll give me so much more freedom with the awkward 2 home situation. ;)
  16. Why didn't you go for a grab then? When we bought our Albutt it was like the new generation of clearing muck, as it cuts the muck in layers, without pulling it, making it a far quicker and cleaner job. \
  17. Well couldn't book a test until after theory, but I know the waiting list is at least 4-5 weeks, which is frustrating as my instructor said that I'm ready. But I can hope for a cancellation apparently.
