  1. wish you all the best with this Sascha, personally ive never seen one in the UK and dont know of anyone operating a 2 stage system, its good to see Beet machinery being scaled down, there just isnt enough
  2. here, here IHP i will just add if people dont like what is said dont listen
  3. maybe but i reckon Fendt will be 1st in line ahead of anything else, of course i maybe wrong
  4. i know a farmer who bought a 6810 who was given one, the registration of his tractor is printed onto the number plate of the model, so quite unique.
  5. its ok to keep saying if you dont like dont buy, but people are entitled to their opinions, i can see everyones point of view which are all valid. It would be great if someone from the company was able to shed some light on why the roof is like that?
  6. People voicing their opinions freely? Which is what i understood a forum to be.
  7. here here i havent seen any of the 1/50 close up but its good to see theyre covering all angles as it were, and why should one company have exclusive rights to one brand well done Siku
  8. just throw my opinion in, Sean your pictures look good and do the model justice, as for the roof ive never seen one like that but that doesnt mean to say it wasnt available in other countries? it does baffle me that people think the UK is significant in the world of farming and ag machinery.
  9. Sima show Paris 20th-24th February 2011. http://www.planet-agri.com/en/sima One show Ive always wanted to visit the, maybe i will get chance.
  10. Not long now until Lamma 2011 19th/20th January. Im hoping to get to this will have to see if i can swap a shift? http://www.lammashow.co.uk/
  11. thanks for posting the Cabcraft brochure Mark, my dad drove a MF 525 no cab just a helmet with a blower, the money they saved not buying a cab was put towards a Browns flat 8 system, how times have changed ? I remember all the other MF combines in the area with cabs being driven with the doors open, probably because the heat from the engine.
  12. I went to Holland on study tour in 91, the thing that struck me is on the whole Dutch farmers seem to invest in equipment but also they are more efficient in how they farm compared to the UK. The level of machinery on a dairy farm was higher than on some UK arable units, but then average milk yields per cow were higher than top yielding herds in the UK. I also think Dutch farmers specialise and excel at one particular area rather than trying to achieve at everything. I never saw one mixed farm while i was there.
  13. And not forgetting it was a Dutch man who helped engineer the Fens in the UK which has been and still is the most productive arable region in this country.
  14. good to see some proper engineering ;D Paulali, did you get that from a dealer???
  15. the tyre on trailer of that Fendt toolcarrier looks flat, were the Police present at the time? great pictures again
  16. its been years since i worked a clamp, ive used a Ford 6610 and buckrake and a Manitou telescopic and i can honestly say i prefer a tractor and buckrake more effort=more fun I would say with modern transmission systems on tractors a tractor buckrake would give any telehandler a run for its money
  17. i can honestly say i dont speed, i stick to the speed limits have done so for a very long time now. While i understand what youre saying as an experiment next time you travel along a motorway fly past a lorry thats doing 56mph then pull into a service station and see how long it is before that lorry passes by
  18. interesting pictures thanks for posting im a bit surprised to see Hardi sprayers in the US, i knew Hardi sold world wide just never seen any evidence of them there before
  19. its a Norfolk thing ;D ;D
  20. farming has always been at the mercy of nature and always will be what alot of farmers lack to do is plan ahead with combine capacity, trailer capacity, handling facilities, have adequate staff, not to mention the benefits of block cropping. These are simple steps that can be taken on any size unit. Ive said in previous posts i know of 2 large arable farms run by the same company, same size, same machinery, same amount of staff GOOD MANAGEMENT makes hell of a differance. I can also give an example of a large unit that would stop the combine at 9pm everynight and 4pm on Sundays, they always finnished the harvest. I also think with modern tractors the driver is somewhat removed from the machine my opinion and i know you will disagree
  21. i dont drive a tractor anymore, all this RUBBISH about pressure at harvest? farmers being bankrupt? GET BLOODY ORGANISED

    ROS 2010

there may come a day when you do get to drive one Tris i must say im finding it hard not to purchase this model, it looks so great and so does the real tractor. There arent many modern tractors that appeal to me but this does big time
  23. i would say the additive set up is probably the simplest way but thats a massive hike are NH doing that across the ranges or just a certain engine size?? I must admit ive lost track of all the emmissions/engine regs they seem to change every other year
  24. i take it theres a cab for a Massey combine in that cabcraft brochure ;D ...what HP would that 145 be Mark?
