  2. thanks for the comment. no the harvester was made by dave towsen cheers Graham will needed to make more of the boxes for a proper spud display. ye wish they would as well mate as it is one of the icons in my mind of the 90's cheers Pete
  3. those 7810 are hard to build at least the 6 series you have a bit of a start.
  4. ye they still do go on ebay or any of the sdites such as farmmodels.co.uk or g&m farmmodels

  9. Thanks very much mate i like them a bit to. well fun you should say that i am thinking of building a 6600 bubble cab that my great uncle used to drive.
  10. well at last i have managed to finish this. the 6600 was the first deere we had on the farm after one of the deutz's had a fire in it. we kept it for 4 years before trading it in for one of the first new 6620's(the 6600 was about 2 years old when we got it but only had 1000 hours on it). anyway always wanted a model of one but nobody ever made them so thought i would build one. there is only 2.5mm in hieght difference and about 10mm in 5 mm in lenght difference.well have taken a few pics any questions or comments welcome.
  11. New flat trailer with side step and box pusher. also the 6810 and 6910s john deeres.
  12. very nice mate will have to look into building one of those i think.
  13. looking forward to seeing the finished product. sometimes the paint goes pete tong and there is nothing you can do about it. what dash are you going to put in it.
  14. the lads that grow spuds on our farm run a sprayer about that size with a front tank on it. the tank can self fill from a burn(stream) which is handy if they are far from home.
  15. Nice looking bit of kit there sean think i will have to get one for my deere as well. would look good on an 6810 fitted with rowcrops.
  16. Very nice mate alot of work has gone into this no doubt alot more as well to get it the way you want it.
  17. Good tractors the 10 series. nice model there mike too
  18. very nice there gav. what about a 3050 pulling her now.
  19. looking very nice mate. where did you buy the wheels from they look good for that age of a trailer. have you got a link that for the small pick up tools you bought from e bay.
  20. On the early 40 series with the opu cabs the gears on the floor in the centre were a bit of a pain when going from low to high while on the road as you had to take your hands of the steering wheel. also the cab doors had a habbit of not retaining in the rubber stops and catching fingers. although all that still enjoyed driving the farm i worked on 2140 2 whd.
  21. well gav still looks good behind that ford. will needed to build a 8 ton version for my 6600 jd.
