  1. From memory, the driver with moveable arms also came with the Thwaites dumper, LWB LandRover, early SWB LandRover, and the Unimog.
  2. My first paid work was to harass 10 acres of meadow hay with a B275 and a Wuffler
  3. Not sure where you are, but there is the Ilfracombe Machinery Mile out there somewhere.
  4. I read on a model rail forum you can be scanned and 3d printed to scale, so has anyone considered having themselves as drivers - or is that just a little too creepy?
  5. Colour scheme says Thomas, 'Super Six' says County, cab/metalwork says european.
  6. Hi, Two garden/mini tractors and a trailer for sale, been in the loft for years, open to offers. pm me if interested. Ford LGT 145, possibly Ertl 1/12 scale? approx 6" long. Steering wheel has a poor repair, lh bonnet decal missing, home made seat. JD 140, possibly Ertl 1/16 scale? approx 4.5" long. Has been repainted at some point. Trailer, Ertl, 1/32 scale? bed approx 5"x3" All to go together if possible.
  7. Eh? Oh, right it said 'burger' on the receipt 😉
  8. £8? Bargain! Went to a christmas tractor light parade last year - £12 for a burger.
  9. The only time I've seen a Deere with a sledge it took six to pull it and the one at the front still needed something red.
  10. Thanks, I did wonder. So next will be 'generate AI photos', followed by 'generate huge false income'?
  11. Slightly off topic, but has anyone else noticed recently some item descriptions have some very strange wording with weird syntax that although it reads correctly it is somehow appears 'generated'. eg. A tractor drawbar... It is compatible with a range of equipment and is ideal for those in the agriculture and farming industries, is made from high-quality materials and is built to last. The brand of this drawbar is Massey Ferguson and it is a part type of hydraulics. The model year is unknown but it is still a useful piece of equipment that can be used to tow a variety of loads. This drawbar is in good condition and is ready for use. Maybe it's just me...
  12. Drained, flushed, and replaced the coolant in the 550. Now trying to clear up the remains of the brown sludge that came out! Needed doing though.
  13. You've just reminded me I should have both of those, and the 2wd versions in the loft somewhere.
  14. Hi Jeff, welcome along. Sorry to hear of your loss, difficult times I'm sure. That's a great collection, it displays well. Did your dad work in the construction industry and collect models of machines he'd seen or used? I'm not well up on construction gear but I' sure others will be able to identify what machines and trucks you have. Personally, if there is room to store or display, then I'd keep it and then could be passed on to the next generation perhaps. If that's not an option then there are specialist toy/model auction houses that could aid in dispersal for you. Unfortunately it's a decision only you can make. Rob.
  15. If it was a kit to print, could you not reverse print the interior parts for rhd?
  16. Not great photos, but you get the idea, Majorette F350...
  17. Last ones for now... A bit disappointed with the 500 Era book. Lots of info inside, and lots of pictures. But editor please note... Not only are some of the pictures duplicated in different chapters, many have been reversed - which on the face of it may not be noticeable apart from the huge back-to-front MF on the bonnet sides, and excepting the fact that the subject of the topic is invariably a single door machine with the door clearly on the wrong side. One picture is even upside down. Put this in to test the crazy level!
  18. In the Stuart Gibbard County book, there's a picture of a crawler upside down in the road. The building behind it is the old Fleet police station. Couldn't have chosen a worse place!
  19. Transit flat bed, three on board, two milk churns and bolt croppers in the back - tow more than just your fuel bowser...😉
  20. The Scalextric L322 RR is nice in silver but obviously not a pick up.
  21. Majorette do/did have a Ford F350, or it's a rebuild of the Britains service truck perhaps?
  22. Went to the Silchester charity tractor run this evening. We would have participated if we'd known it was on, only found out yesterday and no trace on any of the (very limited) advertising of a contact for the organisers to see if joining in was possible. The fact that the end meeting venue was charging £12 (no, not a misprint - twelve!) for just a burger was a straightforward ripoff. I hope some of that goes back to the charities. Rant over..
