Now that's thinking!

Hi, I've wanted an 8650 or 8630 for a while but didn't like the external glazing effort on the Britains. Has anyone managed to re glaze one to a reasonable standard?
-
My guess would be a 504.
-
Sounds like a whole new thread there 'Dear Britains, could we please have in 1/32 ....'
-
Thanks for the replies. I think where I was going with this was the idea that the 135 was on so many carpets over the years and that generation of carpet farmers are now in the market for some nostalgia / mid life crisis which is why they are so popular. Starting to get the feeling I've over-thought this. Best get back to the weather watching before I come up with another bizarre theory.

If back in the 1960s, Britains had (for arguments sake) chosen as it's two mainstay models lets say an IH B250, and a Nuffield 4/65, I wonder what the modern hobby farmers and tractor collectors scene would look like?
-
My first paid work was to harass 10 acres of meadow hay with a B275 and a Wuffler

Not sure where you are, but there is the Ilfracombe Machinery Mile out there somewhere.

Colour scheme says Thomas, 'Super Six' says County, cab/metalwork says european.

JD 3350/3650 Bonnet removal
Hair Bear replied to Pete132's question in Custom Model Methods/Tips/Help
The only time I've seen a Deere with a sledge it took six to pull it and the one at the front still needed something red. -
Thanks, I did wonder. So next will be 'generate AI photos', followed by 'generate huge false income'?
-
Slightly off topic, but has anyone else noticed recently some item descriptions have some very strange wording with weird syntax that although it reads correctly it is somehow appears 'generated'. eg. A tractor drawbar... It is compatible with a range of equipment and is ideal for those in the agriculture and farming industries, is made from high-quality materials and is built to last. The brand of this drawbar is Massey Ferguson and it is a part type of hydraulics. The model year is unknown but it is still a useful piece of equipment that can be used to tow a variety of loads. This drawbar is in good condition and is ready for use. Maybe it's just me...

What 4x4 is available in 1 32??

You've just reminded me I should have both of those, and the 2wd versions in the loft somewhere. -
Hi Jeff, welcome along. Sorry to hear of your loss, difficult times I'm sure. That's a great collection, it displays well. Did your dad work in the construction industry and collect models of machines he'd seen or used? I'm not well up on construction gear but I' sure others will be able to identify what machines and trucks you have. Personally, if there is room to store or display, then I'd keep it and then could be passed on to the next generation perhaps. If that's not an option then there are specialist toy/model auction houses that could aid in dispersal for you. Unfortunately it's a decision only you can make. Rob.

If it was a kit to print, could you not reverse print the interior parts for rhd? -

Last ones for now... A bit disappointed with the 500 Era book. Lots of info inside, and lots of pictures. But editor please note... Not only are some of the pictures duplicated in different chapters, many have been reversed - which on the face of it may not be noticeable apart from the huge back-to-front MF on the bonnet sides, and excepting the fact that the subject of the topic is invariably a single door machine with the door clearly on the wrong side. One picture is even upside down. Put this in to test the crazy level!
