  1. Nice pics Nick... thanks for posting.... Some nice Masseys there mate as well... don't those compact tractors look funny with cabs on them as well  :-\

Nice to see a "Fanny" tucked up the corner as well.... did you have a look at it.... thats most likely going to be the first tractor you ever drive  ;)

Thanks Marky, i really liked the Masseys suprisingly ... i actually really like the new look  :-\

And well shes a 420 but near enough and i didn't actually say that to the dealer  :-[:-[ :D Can't wait for that will be awesome ... also got the brochure so i'll study that  :D

Aww Mike don't be cruel to poor Fanny, did you go to the show? If so did you enjoy it?

  2. Well i've been looking forward to harvest with great anticipation all year and finally it's just starting with OSR. I went out this morning and was a bit disapointed because although there was a combine there was no driver .... but what a lovely machine this really is. Enjoy a few pictures of it stationery....

It's been working today and i've got loads of pictures but im just putting them on photobucket now  ;) Hope these keep your appetite  :)

  3. Thanks lads, the agriculture part of the show i think was gradually going down in the last couple of years but it's kind of making a comeback but isn't the main focus of the show. It's only a small part but there is soo much to see so yeah it's a great day out  :)

  4. Well got some snaps of the event, it seems to get bigger every year but it still is trying to keep it's heritage and a big part of it is agriculture and horticultrue.

So first up the John Deere stand, the first thing i saw as i walked in  :)

The big 9620T and the big end of machinery  :)

Some livestock photos to be put on in a jiffy  :)

  5. Well lets not get personal  :D :D

The massey guys were happy to give things away and were nice chaps but the difference is that Deere were selling soo much more. They had Siku, Britains and Bruder in there with shirts, caps all the JD accesories and i didn't see that with MF .... both were good stands  :)

  6. i got a goody bag off the massy stand not many people had them i think thay could't eaven give them away i just felt sorry for them  :D :D :D

the jd stand was BIG i did like the 9620t

Yeah nice blokes, i've found that the Massey guys are always a lot more helpful than the Deeres. I got a bag from MF with a nice hat, the UH 135 keyring and a pen and then told i could take as many brochures as i wanted ..... so i did  :D

And yeah it was very nice, along side the 7430. Shame they were locked  :-\

  7. i think it was brill what did you think of the jd stand  :o

I think it was awesome, quite a bit of stuff there but a bit of a bum if you didn't go through entrance 4  :-\ Luckily i did ... but the John Deere stand was alot better than the MF display wise but MF were alot more generous methinks ... still a JD boy however  :) :)

  8. Well i did go yesterday to my suprise my friend offered to take me and i was suprisingly impressed. My entry was ?7.00 and for that it was quite alright .... needs more tractors  :D Some interesting things happening down there though  :) I'll put some pics up later

  9. looks like a soil loosener on the back of the j.d.  :-\

Thats what i first thought to be honest, some kind of subsoiler or as you said a soil loosener .. but what put me off that idea is the bar at the bottom? Would they have that?
