It gets a bit confusing with all the tractor model numbers. No good saying you saw a 7810 cos it could have been a JD or a Ford, same with the 6610. Then you've got yer Massey 6290 and a JD 6920........... it's not surprising I have a problem remembering the model numbers of all the tractors I see. Not like the good old days..........they were easy.......everyone knew what it was if it was a 956 XL, or a DX 4-90 or a 3130. Life was so much easier then...............sigh.......
I know what you mean mate, i struggle to find out how they come up with them all. It all is soo mind boggling

Was very happy to be stuck behind a:
Claas Lexion 430
Ford TW-25
Then saw working:
Claas Dominator 98 w. MF 6290 with Marston trailer
New Holland CX something or other with a JD 6920 carting

Thats what i thoourght there nick, its a 7820, his second smallest tractor, the smallest in the fleet is a 6920, he haid that it is realy handy having a loader on her
Hmm, i only think it's silly mate because on the farm down the road the biggest they have is a 7920 But if it's second to smallest tractor is kind of makes sense but still can't really imagine it \

I wonder with it being so small would you see it or would it just be a white sticker \ \

Here is the information you need regarding tax discs. All tractors should display a valid tax disc somewhere on the vehicle. Be it in the window or a holder fixed to any part of cab or body work. There are 2 main type which are both free. Number 1 is "Agricultural Machine" and second is a "Vintage" category. There was also a type called "Restricted" but I think it is now gone ( But correct me if anyone knows different ) The tax was charged at 40 quid a year until around 2000 or 2001 if I recall then it became free. You still have to display the disc at all times on the road or the plod will charge you for not displaying a valid disc if they catch you
Thanks alot TS135A Driver thats cleared it all up, do you have display it in a field?
And im going to try and find someone who can scale an image down for me and print it as a decal Thats the plan anyway

Oh hadeha Mr. :D In my scouts uniform ( should be explorers ) still haven't bothered to buy a new shirt Um i am a right scruffy g!t so you probably wouldn't want to see me. Yesterday i had my scarf over my mouth like a gangster person and my jesters hat on Legend :D

OK guys, first of all do tractors have tax discs \ It's just i have a range of pictures and some do and some don't and the particular tractor im trying to make perfectly has one so how could i make one in 1/32 .. was thinking maybe find a picture and shrink it \ Maybe a decal expert could do a couple \
I'll leave that with you guys an interesting concept
( P.S. Can anyone properly tell me the story of tax discs in tractors? )

Woop woop! Awesome picture mate, that Deere certainly is a beast. Seems really strange seeing what i presume is a 78/7920 with a loader \ Seems a bit silly but nevertheless awesome pic mate

Nice pics Dwain, saw the classic tractor bits but by that time my mate had seen the fun fair and after all ready being at the Deere stand was bored so never got to photo any of the classics :( Did you see the Doe? Awesome pics though mate, what did you think of the show?

Been on the phone to Graham for a bit to arrange a go on some John Deeres, what a lovely chap he is Then i broke the garage door somehow, it's completely off it's rollers then laughed at my Dad as he has amazingly managed to break the hedgecutter, the lawnmower and his saw by chopping the wires by mistake ... \
