  1. WOW theothergreen I think I'll start modelling in 1/64th that is one very, very good layout. I'm doing one in 1/32 but at that scale it takes alot of time.
  2. Very nice the othergreen I like it alot Lots of time and hard work went into that one, MarkyF best of luck with the build hows it coming along? Building the way you are is a good idea, if you want to display your layout at shows it's a good way to start. See your also into mountain bikes, I'm a road racer myself never much use off the road!
  3. Very nice civilpek I like those two 6290s very nice. Wouldn't mind a pair of 6290s from agrium myself.
  4. Well Bill it has to be both foragers, the NH and Case, have both the first release editions. Looking forward to getting the Euro versions. Only disapointment with the euro versions of the NH and Case is the heads are the US versions. The JD Moco is also a very good model. Britains Ertl are going in the right direction with these models.
  5. Look'n good Deere-est I must get my hands on some of those modelling blocks. What other buildings are you going to make?
  6. I agree MFFan but say you are moving a 50acre field, with power lines crossing it, Tractor has to stop when it get's to the base of a pole, lift mower reverse and drive around the pole and drop mower and continue. Cougar keeps moving, lifts one mower passes pole and lowers it to continue, a nice straight swath, and if your tight with your grass just imagine how much extra grass you save. The Cougar also reduces ground compaction. A tractor with a triple mower still crosses twice as much ground as the Cougar.
  7. That's one good convo 1972 farming, like it alot, good detail Are you planning on doing anymore?
  8. Happened to me as well. I got a 412 in a 411box. Good thing though The 412 had not been released then so I got one hell of a surprise. Must be something Siku do now and again.
  9. The Cougar can operate from one mower right through. you can cut on one side of the machine and have the mowers on the otherside not in operation, it's a very versatile mower. You can also lift mowers individually as you drive and mow.
  10. Handy little page there Q a great find, will be useful for those irregular measurements.
  11. It's not so much the idea of having the tractor, but the plan is, if they were originally 8-10 quid when they were first released and now there worth 1000, 15years later, imagine what they will be worth in another 20-30 years. My Deutz Allis has an original price tag on it of $8.00.
  12. You did well Udimore, Britains.nl had an unboxed one for 180.00 euro unboxed last year sometime.
  13. Ok Udi.. I paid ?500.00 for the Hesston MIB. I feel a bit better knowing that someone bought one for ?1,500.00 now that's mad, anyone want to buy mine for?1,000.00?
  14. Donate or sell them to a good converter. Get someone to but a bit of life back into them!
  15. Bought the four rare Valtra coloured tracs for ?800.00 the lot Deutz Allis ?280.00 Fiat Hesston don't want to say because I was fleeced! MF590 ?180.00 All are MIB.
  16. There not bad F-P, the shute swivels, but it is easily lost. Did you see what they were selling for on Ebay?
  17. One thing that always anoyed me, was why did no one make a grass forage harvester? Britains only did the Maize head on their's and if you wanted to do grass silage you had to get a pick-up wagon. Surely Maize growing was not as big at the time when Britains brought out their first forage harvester.
  18. Here's a nice little forage harvester, made by Solido of France. I got two of these when I was a kid on Hols in France. They were great value at only 50p each when you converted from Francs, can't go to far wrong, with that. It is a great machine for the MF595.
  19. Very nice, I belive these can sell for anything upto ?1,000.00. Is Evert selling this one by any chance? I'll have to chat to the bank manager.
  20. Sorry FP memory is not what it used to be
  21. Not made by me powerstar but by another member of the forum, sorry don't mean to be ignorant but I can't remember who. If he sees this he'll let us know.
