  1. I'll second that Marky F from what I remember it looked good, come on get movin
  2. NCC I'll get a few pics if he bales this year. It was a bit of a task though, but the quad is one hell of a baler. The maize was baled because one corner of the field is on a steep hill and the lower end is soft. He baled about 3 acres but it did take him at least an hour to do. The bales worked out ok no muck got hauled in.
  3. Lookin good FB, I'll have to get my hands on some of those plastic I beams, they make the build look very realisitc. The concrete floor looks good also, very nice
  4. Just to confuse the issue a bit more, is it true that the new MF models share engine components with Valtra. I can remember reading somewhere that Valtra parts were used.
  5. You only said it twice this time!! That happens sometime about the server being reset, I just ignore it and check to see if the post went through, it always does.
  6. NCC a local contractor bales whole crop wheat and Maize for dairy farmers here. He cuts the maize with a tripple claas dicso on a Fendt 818 and bales it with a claas Quadrant and wraps with a big bale wrapper. The maize is easy to bale once it's been cut, the only problem is the weather if it's too wet the tractor and baler just plough. If the vredo is as good as they say I could see it catching on big time. Bales are very handy for mixing in wagons, getting the feed balance right.
  7. TM810 Whole crop for dairy cows. Great for winter milk. The traditional method of storage for maize silage is in the clamp, bales are just right for storage and mixing with grass silage in the Keenan mixer wagon.
  8. Here's the pic of the vredo vt with the maize gear, it's not a great pic. Nothing about maize on the site though.
  9. I have a bad pic FB I'll scan and post it later. It looks like a Claas Jag on steriods!! The front pick-up consists of a Kemper Maize head and the maize is loaded in to a hopper behind the cab, then fed into a big square baler and wrapper combo. Vredo say it'll do 90 bales an hour looks good.
  10. Very nice Dave, interesting convo Have you seen the new Verdo self propelled maize harvester, which forms big bales?
  11. Marky F those veg look just out off this world! If I was you i'd start making and selling that stuff that your mum has made it looks extremely good.
  12. That's the new one Mccorimick man the 3300, exhaust is pinned low to the front right.
  13. Very nice tm810 looking forward to see the finished item. So hurry up!! Back to the shed!

  17. With all the bits an pieces, plus a rare yellow fordson major. I'd have to say ?350.
  18. Started using this stuff today, the results are looking good it stands up well to a bit of bashing, I'll be posting a few pics of what I've used it for soon. Nice big slatted shed!!
  19. Looks good Jdc, improves the Britains JCB Loadall no end, I like the platform, well made
  20. Looks good 1972 Farmming, looking forward to seeing the finished model.
  21. It's just how it is? Remember the guy in the MF Combine and the Iveco tipper he is a midget compared to the tractor drivers of the time. The guy in the forestry Valmet and JCB is also small to fit the cab, he's also in the recent Britains MF Combine. He's the guy with the beard.
  22. Evert Just won the Deutz set with the mower and trailer, just ahead of me on Ebay about 2 years ago! The ford 7610 with the blue trailer and sheep, I got for ?45.00 quid on ebay. It was very poorly listed I think I found it under farm models or some search like that.
  23. The JCB Fasttrac gift pack is another nice one to have. I'm lookin for the Deutz pack at the moment the one with the tipping trailer with the Deutz logo on it. It's a hard one to find.
