  1. Once upon a time an order of French Internationals for some export market got cancelled and a dose of them ended up in Ireland. I recall they were cab-less models when they arrived and were fitted with a cab here. Can't quite remember any more details just now - although I think I saw one in Cork about a month ago.
  2. What is the reg no on the 1210?

    County 1172

I've been waiting a long time to get a picture of this little beauty. * One day, maybe, they'll let me take her home :'( :'( :'( :'(

    Silage Pictures

The two 7530s look like John Murphy's. Not sure who the harvester belongs to. The first pic of the 900, JD & Thorpe looks like Mulhearne's - saw them yesterday near Carroll's Cross. Shame to see a once true-blue fleet now contaminated with green yokes! Once upon a time he had two 8360s mowing, a Fiat 100-90 on the rake, two 7810s under the Redrocks and two TS115s under the Thorpes. The harvester was a NH FX back then.
  6. Here's one DBP made for me using the older Britains chassis as a base and a modified cab/platform from the TW20/7710.
  7. I know the Cork boys will tell me I should have put this under Landmarks and Scenery, but hey: After 30 odd years of wishing I had a camera with me passing this guys yard - today I did! Enjoy! * *
  8. Don't forget fuel economy. I see that New Holland and SDF are pushing this aspect quite strongly in their advertising at the moment.
  9. For your next trick you should put in an [url=http://www.farmersjournal.ie/2008/0223/farmmanagement/farmbuildings/index.shtml]anaerobic digester in front of the tank. - It creates methane gas which you can use to run a generator (Free electricity) - Kills the weed seeds in the slurry - Improves the Nitrogen availability of the slurry (by a factor of four if my memory serves me right) - The slurry don't smell afterwards - You can take off a very nutrient rich compost material. Win:Win:Win:Win:Win
  10. I'd say it is closer to a 944 - and there will be lots of them in the not too distant future
  11. You can afford a wife as well? :o
  12. Fendt 936 on a TN plate with a massive triple axle Peecon tanker in tow. Wowser!
  13. Well tidy Tris. You'll need to rebadge her as a 26.410 now that you have the third axle. You might also consider making a suitable trailer for her, like, I dunno, maybe a [url=http://www.stas.be/template1.aspx?l=EN&iSectionID=34]Stas?
  14. You had a 7600 Schlindler under your bum and you still had time to think about this science stuff? Very strange!
  15. Drat! I was all set to head up country to "collect" it tomorrow, but I see the JD guy finally turned up and extracted it to the UK. Oh well, maybe next time :'( :'( :'(
  16. I'll be 'aving one of those! *
  17. WooooHooooo! * * This is going to be good! 8) 8)
  18. I always wondered what they did with that chopped grass after we left! \ But this topic is getting too far away from the romance, the adrenalin, and the clouds of black smoke! Who cares about the science Lets cut to the sexy stuff! [url= Grass and[url= Keep Her Lit Marky. You need a day on a silage crew! Everybody needs a day on a silage crew!
  19. Cracking read as always Rory. I assume you have more pics of Mick Coopers' layout. Any chance you could post a few (dozen?) on here so we can drool all over our keyboards? Go on! You know you want to!
  20. If you are paying attention to the price of Diesel, you might consider [url=http://www.poettinger.at/landtechnik/download/jumbo-torro_en.pdf]a couple of these instead

    Rolling

Nothing I love more than a field rolled with style - saw three of them today. 10:10 (Visions of a field rolled by Marky I've seen pictures of a field he ploughed! Just as well they don't have hills 'round his part of the world )
  22. If there were Numptys to be issued they would go to the people who pm'd me, and emailed Liebherr, looking to reserve models! I won't name names though! Happy April 1st y'all! 8) 8)
  23. Was talking to Liebherr today and he told me that his contact in Germany is getting in some 1:32 Masseys next week. There is a 178 on 38" standard wheels with a flexicab and a 188 on PAVT 34" wheels with Selene 4wd and a Fritzmeier cab. Will post pics when he emails them to me in the morning. Once case of each are being shipped to Ireland as soon as they arrive. All unreasonable offers accepted!
  24. Holy sweet Jeebus! :o Love to go for a walk around there some day. Serious set up! And yes - you DO have lots of sheds to make! :D
