  1. Well I managed to get some time off work and got to the showground about 2pm. Unfortunately the actual ploughing had finished by then but I managed to get quite a few pics of the showground and demo area, hopefully Hody21 will be able to post photos of the ploughing competition ;)
  2. Hi and welcome to the forum :D I am sure that Dakotah toys were mentioned on here a couple of weeks ago as someone else was having problems getting hold of them and the website wasn't working any more. Maybe he doesn't want to be found at the moment \ \ \ \

    Unusual Ford 8210

I have been back for another look and I tend to agree with you, the skid unit looks like a 2 wheel drive and the pto drives the conveyor and chute for the gravel
  9. Wholeheartedly agree with that, I like to see some different colours, what else can you find?

That's a great Link Tellarian, interesting reading thanks 8)
  11. I can never understand the reasoning behind speed cameras unless it is as a revenue raiser. For me, the most effective form of accident prevention is the good old marked patrol car, it is far more of a deterrent than any camera. All cameras seem to do is to cause "concertina" driving where drivers slow for the camera and then speed up again
  12. Adam From Chris Lockwoods site, another Maisie with side panels ;) ;) ;) http://www.midsuffolkagriphotos.co.uk/gallery/gp2651.htm

Had a good chat to the driver and he told me that they were considering a replacement this year but they were quoted £30,000 for a similar machine, they decided to do up the old girl and it cost them £5000 for new bearings and belts etc, he was happy with that and the old girl will be going for a few more years yet. 8)
  14. I do like your pictures Wee nash, there is something about the McCormicks that appeals to me, they do seem to be closer to the old Internationals than their Case counterparts \ \ \ \ \ \

And then in the same field, John Deere 6220 and New Holland small baler There was also a JD 6120 2wd on carting duties but I got called away before I could get the pictures. The combine also blocked and there was a cloud of blue smoke and the smell of burning rubber. He couldn't blame the student this time as the driver was about 80 :o :o

  18. Been painting the outside of the house for the last 2 days, yesterday went fine but today has been a nightmare. I was doing the rendered white bit and the ladder slipped, dropped the paint which bounced down the low part of the roof and crashed to the floor :'( :'( :'( :'( I have then had to power hose the roof and the drive to get the white paint off. Then I decided to paint (wood stain) the garage door, I was half way through that and I knocked the stain over the newly power hosed drive [ [ I then used about 2 pints of white spirit and an old sheet to clean it up and had to power hose the drive again \ \ \ That's it........I am never going to be a decorator.....I used to call my son Captain Chaos because of the things he did, now I know where he gets it from \ \ \ \ \
