  1. Hopefully this works and you might get the same thrill that I did as the ground shook as she passed by
  2. A few weeks ago I found a Steiger Panther at a local farm but parked up in the barn, today I found it working and what a beast it is too.
  3. The gears have changed quite a bit since I last had a go, no more constant mesh crunching, but other than that I was just impressed with how quiet and easy it was. Don't forget that I was just driving in a straight line with nothing on the back so it wasn't as if I was actually working.
  4. Overnight on the 19th – 20th March 2012 a Claas Axion 810 was stolen from AYLSHAM in Norfolk. The tractor is valued at £106000. Attached to the rear of the tractor was a £12000 slurry injector, this was a bespoke item made up on a FARM WRITE subsoiler. Registration number AY11CNA
  5. Then the injection tractor and what a set of tyres she had on her, apparently they were £40,000 for the set :of but the drive reckoned she could almost walk on water ;D They looked at an injection machine which retailed at £4000 but after having a demo and seeing how it was put together, they made their own..........and a good job it does too ^-^
  6. Then today I came upon a large contracting gang injecting slurry, they run all John Deere tractors none of which are more than 2 years old but are expected to do up to 3000 hours in that time They actually let me loose to have a drive in this one
  7. Massey Ferguson 3095 and sprayer
  8. I have got quite a few photos to post this week and quite a few different colours. Starting with a Valtra T151 injecting food waste into grassland, apparently the grass shows a growth spurt within days The driver did apologise for the dirty condition but they had a pipe burst earlier in the day, to be fair I went past him again today and it was shining The onto a Deutz Agrostar 6.08 with a power harrow/drill combination
  9. Bob, it is a Same Loni, built for the Indian market, I don't think they are available in Europe
  10. Anyone want to buy a used demonstrator machine? One less than careful owner

    Siku 2012

If you want the Rickerby show version "For your eyes only" then G & M have got them in but you had better be quick as only 100 were made
  12. Last October's model was a Hawk Hire McCormick TTX and yes, I believe it was limited to 250. The weathered ones are always more limited than standard models, if you go onto the website there is a link to previous show models.
  13. I have got a day off today so I thought that it was an ideal time to service and sharpen my lawn mower which is a Balmoral cylinder type mower. So, off I went to B & Q who have a large Warehouse establishment about a mile from my house. All that they stock is Rotary mower replacement blades and not the cylinder sharpener. Little bit peeved but there is a garden centre about another mile and a half away. So off I go to the garden centre, they only have rotary mowers and don't stock any replacement items at all. Well, I am out and about now so the next call is about 5 miles to a garden centre that regularly wins awards and is classed as the best in the North West. After 15 minutes walking round I can't see a single lawn mower so I asked a member of staff. His reply almost floored me. "We don't stock lawn mowers " Oh silly me, fancy thinking that a garden centre would stock lawn mowers :- people obviously don't have lawns in their gardens nowadays, there are too many plastic gnomes......... OK, so now I still need a mower sharpener so the only thing for it is to traipse right across town to the specialist mower supplier. Man behind the counter says "oh no we don't stock them, we prefer you to bring your mower in to us for us to sharpen and service it, have you tried the internet?" By now I have lost the will to live, I have been driving round for 2 hours, been in 4 different establishments and still not got the ruddy sharpener > So I try the internet...........and the first page that comes up is Duttons Mower World............which is where I have just been........... *$£&!!!
  14. I haven't got the link to it but I have just watched an EMPTY box go for £180.99. It was for a Lego cultivator.................if the cultivator itself had been in the box then I could have understood it............but an empty box????
  15. If you mean the cost of the model.................probably £25-30.........if there are only 100 models then I would buy it as you enter as they will sell out very quickly............just as long as there is one left for me ;) ;)
  16. Title amended [ [ I didn't think about the other connotations :-
  17. The website has been updated with details of the show model, a weathered International 956 XL http://www.spaldingmodeltractor.com/index.html
  18. Some of you may have heard of "Pudding" who is a member on here and many other forums although he doesn't get on here all that often. His brother recently visited Thailand and brought these two unusual model back for him. The first is a Tomy Yanmar and is similar to the Diapet Yanmar although it is a smaller scale The second is in the same small scale and also by Tomy but it is a Yanmar Rice Combine I don't think I have ever seen either of them in the UK but I stand to be corrected ???
  19. There is one of these on Ebay at the moment but you might have to be quick, it finishes in just over an hour http://www.ebay.co.u...=item43ae02e0f4 Whoops edit..................just the empty box but still going for silly money
  20. Siku Limited Edition Same 265 75th Anniversary model, one that has eluded me for some time so quite pleased to have finally got it
  21. Oh yes, lots of us will be there from about 6pm onwards
  22. I believe Teckno (sp) made a 434 but if one ever comes up for sale they make good money, well into 3 figures
