  1. I know that we have seen a preview of the show model here on the forum but the website has just been updated with details http://www.spaldingmodeltractor.com/page6.html
  2. Hmm................ insecure load..............dangerous driving............let me get my pencil sharpened................book 'im Danno ;D ;D
  3. Washed and polished the car this morning and then spent the afternoon reading the Winsor Report, looks like I will be buying far fewer models in the future > >
  4. It's too early to put a Nitrogen fertiliser on until the grass has started to grow properly however, I do give it a dose of lawn sand which greens it up without over feeding it and also kills off the moss that crept in over the winter. Again though, I won't scarify until the grass is growing strongly otherwise it opens up the sward to weed and moss invasion, that will get done towards the end of April.
  5. Tidied out the garden shed then gave the lawns their first light cut of the year, spring is in the air and that means Spalding is not too far away ;) ;D
  6. Have a look at the latest issue of Model Farmer magazine No.4, Andy has had a behind the scenes preview of this collection and it will be continued in issue 5 as well.
  7. Update as of 3rd March Since the beginning of February there have been 9 John Deere Tractors stolen in the UK, of these 6 were in the Thames Valley Police area, (I blame Kev), 3 of these have since been recovered. Machines to look out for are: JCB W381SNV (I don't have model details) John Deere 6930 HF09FNU John Deere 7530 OU09DFL John Deere 6930 OU08EVT Manitou G805VOW (no model details) John Deere 6430 OU07KTT McCormick YN07KZG (no model details) John Deere 6320 OU07CRK John Deere 5820 OU09NJJ Also stolen was the John Deere 9430 and Dowdeswell 8 furrow plough mentioned in another thread, the vehicle was driven from Henley, through Marlow to Bourne End with the plough still attached, a distance of 15 miles and was last sighted about 5pm on 23rd February. As usual any information to Christopher.ruff@wiltshire.pnn.police.uk or to me if you prefer.

    Weise-Toys 2011

G & M are now showing a Weise Fendt 822 in green, does anyone know what is the difference between this and the standard 824 other than the decals?
  12. I wasn't aware that the black 8650 was available yet \ G & M only have it on pre order
  13. This topic has been moved to Farm Shows. [iurl]http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=33041.0[/iurl]
  14. The care and attention that the Royal Mail afford their deliveries > > Thankfully the model inside was undamaged although the box was a little creased \ \
  15. What annoys me about eBay at the moment > > Non payers who bid and win the auction and then don't pay or even get in contact! I can't even leave negative feedback to warn others.
  16. There are actually a number of different versions of this model, have a look at the list of all 1/32 UH models and you will be able to see the different variations. I believe that they stopped making the orange version when Claas took over the company and it was then badged as a Claas Atles 936 model.
  17. Turned over the veg plot and planted the onions, garlic and some early Rocket, my back is now stiffening up good style \ \
  18. For me, Ros Cassani and Same DA 25, you would have to be a die hard Same fan to appreciate them but I got them for next to nothing so, well pleased :D :D Unfortunately I got outbid at the last minute for a Same Sunflower but I will just have to keep trying ;)
  19. Joe there was one on eBay last week that I was watching that didn't sell although it didn't have a box, In thought very seriously about buying it as I like "out of the ordinary items" but I would like to know who makes the model please thanks
  20. I have just been reading the latest issue of Classic Tractor magazine and there would appear to be a new website for blue tractor fans http://www.blueforce.uk.com/ Whilst I am in favour of as much diversity as possible I do wonder what the Ford and Fordson Association think about this new interloper or, are they also involved with the organisation?
  21. It is already available through the on line dealers http://www.gandmfarmmodels.com/ UH model number 2921 priced at £56.00
  22. Turns out this was all my own fault, bull in a china shop [ [ I had pulled the indicator wire out of the connector in the main junction box and it was touching one of the other connectors and so was live all the time when the lights were on, all sorted now ;) ;D
  23. The farm toy show model has also got tinted glass but like Sean I'm not sure what else is different
  24. The electrics on my trailer > > Last week I smashed a rear light whilst reversing, OK my fault, but only £6.99 for a new light unit complete with bulbs. I disconnect the old unit looking at where each of the 4 wires goes, so far so good. I then have to wire up the new one. Wire number 1 is the earth, no problem I know which one it is and where it goes. I am then left with 3 wires. One should be live when the lights are on, the rear light.........no problem Another should be live when the brake pedal is pressed.........no problem. The remaining wire should only be live when the indicator is on...........wrong......it is live all the time. I have then tried all sorts of combinations swapping the wires round several times and blowing the car fuse on 2 occasions > And I still can't get it right.............I hate cars and everything that goes with them > >
