  1. That one reminds me of the Wilder pressure harrow that we had in the early 80's I think I might have to get that one ;) ;)
  2. Got them on my Mondeo, brilliant tyres, far more grip than the ones I had before
  3. Coat...............door.................out............ and shut the door after you ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  4. That might actually be the right answer Patrick although I occasionally did other things as well ;) ;D ;D
  5. Nice variety Mart, thanks for posting, quite an eclectic mix there ;) ;)
  6. One of the farms I worked on in the late 70's had a Lambourn cabbed version, can't say it was my favourite place to spend the day, noisy and draughty springs to mind. Other than that I quite liked the 165's, easy to drive and well set out. I always found the tractormeter to be a bit inaccurate though, I never quite trusted the speed ratings. I used one on a sprayer for a while and you had to set the sprayer pressure and the forward speed of the tractor to get the right application rates, I always ran out of spray before the end of the field \ \ :( :(
  7. This time I have both good and bad news. \ \ Staring with the BAD On 14th January 2011 a JCB 3CX YN57NFR was stolen from Scunthorpe. On 15th January 2011 two New Hollands were stolen from Holme, Spalding Moor. These were: NH TM150 reg number DG02WVE and NH TM135 reg number YX02FAU Now to the GOOD news. This week two Massey Ferguson tractors were recovered from the South Yorkshire area, these had been stolen on 5th and 7th January from the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire area respectively. It does appear that elderly or otherwise vulnerable farmers are being specifically targeted by the criminals to get them to store vehicles prior to them being cloned or exported.
  8. Benny when you post more photos can you limit them to 6 per post please otherwise the pages take ages to load, thanks
  9. Proper tractors, love 'em ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  10. This topic has been moved to Farming related Videos. [iurl]http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=32697.0[/iurl]
  11. Went for a wander into Lidl, I am always surprised at what they stock. I came out with cardboard boxes for £1.79 each. I have been after some new boxes to store the models in and tuff crates have always seemed a bit expensive. These boxes are designed for books so they are good and strong and each box will hold 8-10 models depending on the size of the box. Some of the other stuff in there looked to be good value as well, 12.1mp camera for £79.99, belt sander and jig saws for a lot less than any hardware store I have seen and all sorts of other odds and sods, well worth the trip in my opinion. ;)
  12. Last farm I worked on had an 850DT and 1000DT but this one will have to do ;)
  13. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but I have not seen the Ros Same Iron 200 together in a set with the Joskin animal trailer before, so I had to add it to the SDF collection
  14. As Tractor thefts continue to rise year on year so the NFU Mutual have looked at ways of trying to combat their losses. As a result they have drawn up a list of discounts that they are prepared to offer for the fitment of the various different markers and tracking schemes to tractors, these are listed below. CESAR Scheme 12.5% TRACKER system 12.5% Thatcham approved P2 Immobiliser 7.5% Thatcham approved P5 Tracking system 15% CESAR plus TRACKER 25% CESAR plus approved P2 Immobiliser 20% CESAR plus approved P5 Tracking system 27.5% Hopefully these discounts will encourage owners to fit one or more of these systems to their vehicles and to make it more difficult for the thieves.
  15. Wouldn't surprise me if it was from Norscott, they seem to do quite a lot of Claas stuff
  16. Hi Jim can't answer your question but nice to see you on here ;) Has the County 754 taken a place in your cabinet or have you put it to work on the farm? :
  17. Today?? My you have been busy ;) ;D ;D ;D So when will you be appearing on "The Apprentice" then? Well done and I am glad to see that business is good, we (as in the hobbyists), need a supplier like HLT. 8)

  19. I've tried that but two weeks later I always seem to want the thing that is at the bottom of the heap, and then it all goes to rat sh*t
  20. If you want to show others how good it is then why don't you take some pictures and post a full review in the Rate and Review section
  21. Bought a full bathroom suite just before the VAT rise, it isn't due to be fitted until late February but thought it would be better to get it now, only problem, where do I store it as my garage is full of junk useful items that are too good to throw away ;D
