  1. Absolutely brilliant John, something to be very proud of.
  2. These tractor builds are getting better and better!! If it wasn't on a vehicle bonnet, don't think l would realise it was a model, brilliant work John.
  3. Ditto, but l say it again - stunning build!!
  4. Some of my recent claas and N. H brochures. Very pleased to pick up the A1 sized poster with the dominator 80 centre piece.
  5. Great looking low loader, and brilliant start to the Ford, really looking forward to watching this one. Really liked the look of those loading shovels. A local grass/drying farm used to have an A66. Ps. If you want any brochure pics/dimensions let me know, and I can forward them through.
  6. Thanks for posting, more great photos, and as always excellent background information, love reading about the big set ups from the past. Keep them coming
  7. Couple of the old "Manns Monitor" newsheets, which was the in house magazine from the mid 1970's for Manns. Very informative of what was happening with Claas/manns in the 70's/80's. This was the forerunner to "Harvest times" which superceded the Manns Monitor in 1987.
  8. Lambourne cab. (Roadless), still a lot to do, including rear window frame/lower cab window frame etc, and some tidying up with filler, and door detailing.
  9. Helping good friend with potato digging, brought these hitched empty Baileys back through two towns...... With hindsight would have been better to leave it until after the afternoon school runs.......
  10. Great pictures Smithy, (loving the crop master) l take it they got it all cleared on the Monday, as you thought it may run into Tuesday?
  11. Love these archives, great photos, excellent background info and details, really brings it back into focus. An era which didn't seem quite as rushed, more people/more tractors and tackle at work (admittedly not as efficient as today) just seemed to be better/more interesting times, maybe l have rose tinted glasses, but I would love to go back in a time machine for a season..... Thanks again for posting bluegreen.
  12. Agree totally with AndyB, excellent thread, loving the recollections/dates and background details. Such a great period in agriculture in my opinion. Thanks for posting bluegreen, and keep them coming
  13. Looks different weather to the last time we were on the field Mr Smith . As we were saying the other day, harvest seems ages ago now, can't believe it's only 6 weeks since we were on the field. Nice job with the plough there Smithy. What's going in the field for next Season?
  14. A beast in its day, lovely old tractor. Such a pity Britain's, UH and even Marge models made a bit of a fudge of the TW's.
  15. Great photos again, absolutely love this era, (especially when there's a few Fords and a few Claas thrown in ) thanks very much for posting, never get tired of pictures of this period.
  16. Again, stunning!! The matbro and now this Sitemaster, brilliant.....
  17. Very nice haul of models there Justin.
  18. Brilliant builds again James, they look the business!! How did you find getting the telescopic aireal down to size, l find that quite a fiddly job, cutting to size/drilling and trying to put those awkward little copper type shims back in place.....
  19. Like wise Andrew, thanks for posting and keep them classics coming!
