Um we looked at a 125hp ish 40s ford, no idea what number?

I was tatty paint wize but no big dents so straightish really though, needed new boots alround with would cost alot i would think.

Main thing is though, its not green or red  :D :D :D :D :D

Nar blue would do really.

We should have had that 3050 we looked at last year £5000 in really good nick overall

If you looking at those kind of Deere's, Ad make sure they are 40kph as the y were 30kph in the earlier years. 40 series Fords always suffer bad paint on the bonnet in particular, even some of the 60 series do. Ford 8340 you would have been looking at, it's 125hp.

They are a good tractor, better for you guys I would think though would possibly be a 7840 SL Dual Power.

Adam,

I put a topic up here a few months ago looking for views on a similar size tractor for our farm.

I'll find the link for you in a few minutes.

For waht you want I would go for a IH 955 or Ford 8210 - not much point in spending too much money unless you have other work lined up for it ;)

Here you go Adam - maybe this will confuse you even more given all the makes and models mentioned :D :D

If you want to know anything else feel free to PM me ;)

Too slow, Colm. Pulling the County around the eastern counties will want a bit more grunt. Not that I am in any way knocking an 8210 of course ;)

I know what you are saying Tris but a lot have put 7710 gearboxes in them and they are back up to 20mph ;) Personally I'd rather have something slow than something that costs a mint and can't really be justified if you see what I mean

Yes it Charlie's 2 County's at the BA Stores event last year Colm.

Do you know him through the Scottish County Club ??? ???

He used to have a Nuffield before he got in to county's.......mind you earning a living selling the newer "blues" must have made him go that way  ;) ;)
