This year there is loads of maize being grown close to the cottage, apparently for fuel in a new biomass power station at Bentwaters Park. Guess it'll be chopped with a forager, but I'll try to get photos when it goes happen!

Should be with a combine and torpedo maize (corn) head, Malcy. I think they just use the grain to produce the fuel like they do with milo in America to produce ethanol.

its been a better year for the harvest than last years wash out, though I have had a bad knee so haven't ventured very far, and most of what I've seen has been one combine (you know which one) but they seem to be getting through their wheat now and the beans are ripening nicely, so possibly won't be a september 20th finish this year!

Weird orange front wheels, and very tiny rears... At F-reg this must have been one of the first Senators in the country - although nowhere on the combine does it say Senator, or Mercator, or anything. And it has a different Claas logo on the rear hood, normally they are the red square/white logo type!

Yep, Senny was just next to the B1078 between Hemingstone and Ashbocking. Saw it on the way back to Woodbridge from the A140 after the Claas demo...

That's the one then mate I had to pick me girls up from me mums after work and cut across from Needham Market to Woodbridge ;) ;)
