nick a
marstons build the griffiths trailers, the griffiths trailers actually have thicker heavier floors but less thicker gauge sides according to the specifications. conversley the AS Marston trailers have thicker gauge bodies and thinner floors than the griffiths trailers. griffiths spec is 5mm floors and 3mm sides AS MARSTON is 4 annd 4mm. Eurodeere
Looks good. Griffiths trailers were normally orange. Green ones were sold by a number of Deere dealers in the late eighties.

BigX500
Griffiths where made in wrexham before Marston brought the rights to make them we run 5, 8 ton griffiths had 2 in 1988 and 3 in 1995. Good trailer apart from axle and springs, springs snap in to 2 and the wheel hubs have 2 be welded up.
Smithy140
Oh yeah we had to do a wheel hub on ours. forgot that

Good trailer apart from axle and springs, springs snap in to 2 and the wheel hubs have 2 be welded up. well.. mine has needed new springs (as they had snapped).. it's had a new axle.. the drawbar had broken in two (common fault on these models.. very weak spot evidently.. same drawbar on the 10t as on the 8t).. both rams leak... one had a new seal kit fitted... but they are too far gone to repair with just a seal kit.. replacing them is 2x£600 as they (Marston) don't stock the old type rams any more... so... apart from the chassis.. the axle and the springs.. er.... that leaves the body.. it's a great trailer :D
BigX500
Hoping to sell some of ours to replace with 10 Richard Westerns.just a shame they are Ford blue, trouble with red on trailers they go a pink colour quick.
