Eurodeere
think the 4055 i used to drive had one ? Yes, 4x50 and 4x55 SG2 tractors all had air seats and large ones at that. The Personal Posture Seat was designed for the larger American figure. 2x50, 3x50, 2x55 and 3x55 tractors bound for the US had the same seat but not sure if the suspension was mechanical as in 4x40 tractors or air. Marmitemania
Looks OK to me I think people just react to change, I for one never really like change, but it grows on you in the end. A classic example for me was when the second generation Range Rover came out around 1994/95 for a start I could not take to it as I was so used to the original, but after a while you take no notice, and now I would quite happily own one. Deere-est
I used to think it was like a jacked up Austin Maestro, James!

mrol
Any updates on this prototype? In these pics I think JD has adopted some of the car manufacturers techniques by masking the proper look e.g. The black paint of the grill doesn't cover all of it and spreads across multiple panels - pretty unusual that and prob part of the reason it looks a bit ugly! mrol
A lot of similarities between the prototype pictures and the new 8Rs

roberthenning
Look very similar alright, im sure it'll be a fantastic machine, with the last cab nearly 20years old its good to see they have updated it. But not really fussed on that bonnet
Smithy140
I take it thats the new 7000 series then? I know thats wats on the bonnet but it wudnt be the first time the prototye had differnet decals Looks a tidy old machine
TM190
The more I look at the prototype I like It!
andrewstanford
i realy like that tractor and i think it will be a winner but if you look closely at the pic im sure it says 7630 which would explain the shorter wheelbase and also i like the new cabs also you notice that the doors are split in the middle where there would be 2 posts
Deere-est
The smaller one I think looks daft at this stage. I do like the AGCO looking 8R though
masseyjack590
they're growing on me i like them betting now but the 8r looks the better of the two
