Valley Axe Man Posted April 27, 2019 Share Posted April 27, 2019 And this arrived too, just a pity on the condition of the envelope but never seen these together before, done for the Blue Synchro range of tractors, Leyland used up stocks of the old 10 speed handbooks and printed supplements to go along with to cover the engines and Synchro gearboxes rather than print a whole new handbook, i believe there would have been a card in the envelope for the owner to redeem his first free 50hr service and also a bit of supplying dealer information, a nice find might not be mint but a welcomed addition to the collection 8 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not brochures but a trio of workshop manuals, An early 1970 Leyland 344/384 which has seen the odd oily hand, a 1965 Nuffield 10/42 and 10/60 that's in very good order and a rarity in the form of a BMC Diesel manual that covers the fuelling and pump timings of all the three, four and six cylinder BMC diesels fitted in the light commercial, heavy commercial and agricultural ranges... useful information to sit down and digest over a couple of coffees and an occasional biscuit 10 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Valley Axe Man Posted May 29, 2019 Share Posted May 29, 2019 (edited) A couple of swaps over the weekend at Chipping with JMD, and the Leyland/Marshall Brochure collection grows yet again, a couple of rare ones here that i'm now glad to have in my collection, Cheers for the swaps John they've gone into a good collection, Think i've now got the full set of 3 export spec synchro Leyland brochures, with the addition of the 262/462 one, 245, 262/462 and 272/472 i'm pretty sure they didn't do one for the 282/482 and 285, but enquiries will be made to double check, The export 752-954xl Marshall is another rarer one along with the ranger ATV a few more to take photo's of before i file them away Nice touch was the finding of a 1983 Price list in John's lot, so i now know my 804 was £14188 back in the day when it was new Edited May 29, 2019 by Valley Axe Man 7 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
