willralst23
Got mine today (no161), its a shame about the bonnet, as the rest of the detail in the cab is really good (I think so anyway!!), but I wanted one anyway, after having a 390 and 390T on the farm! Its my 1st Border Fine Arts model, maybe manage to save up and get another one sometime!

BC
Well I never did get around to emailing BFA or the BFA society but I spoke with the master sculptor Ray Ayres yesterday at a BFA event held at Sinclairs of Inverurie. After some warm up chit chat I basically asked if he had received much in the way of feedback on the MF390 and mower figurine. He said no and asked me why. I explained I was no MF expert but I was a member of a forum and the model was given a lot of criticism due to the incorrect sloping bonnet. He advised the model was made under license for MF and they signed off on it and well too late to do anything about it now. Anyway assuming he is telling me the truth it makes me wonder how much the people approving it at MF actually know about what they were signing off on when it comes to older tractors made by their company in the past.
