The same neighbour that asked us if we need help with mowing turned up with his tractors and lifters we would of used my MF3085 but my dad was away mowing to another man so that was that idea out the window.

All lined up and all the bales in :D as you can tell in the pictures it had tured wet and alot off rain fell but we had it all baled and wraped before it came so we where very lucky

Just finished second cut silage round at work yesterday. Mowing some grass for hay at home today as the forecast is good

Ah Pat get some pictures of you guys at the hay we have 11acres ready to cut and there's a lot of chat that a big heat wave is coming so we will be trying to get hay aswell :D

Hope you've managed to get your hay made and some pictures Bob. We've got 105 acres down, some baled yesterday and the rest tomorrow if all goes to plan

After a few days with temp up to 25c-30c it soon killed the grass

rowing up a few row around the field as our contactor was coming the next morning to bale up a few round bales of haylage

Great updates there bob is the hay going to be used on the farm or sold? Where I live small square bales are normally done to be sold to horsey people.

 

Well Rob most of it will be used by use we baled it up with our own baler as this helped us to cut costs as we had no call to bring in contractors to round bale a wrap so save £7.50 for every 10 bales of hay we baled.

Thanks Pat all went well apart from the baler throwing the pickup chain off but 2mins and she was back in action

 

 

Can I nickname you Bobs Burgers,due to no burgers cooking on your bbq ;D

Always nice to see your fleet working away.
