MF 3650 Finished added the PMA hitch 15-9-2011

Well this model is standing quit some time here on the shelf to get further with.

But never got around to post the build of it.

This is going to be a MF 3650 or MF 3655.

The chassis and wheels are from the Claas Ares from UH (the old version)

The cab/platform is from the MF 3080 from UH.

And the bonnet is the ROS MF 3050 that i have extended at the end and at the front bot om to get the right measurements.

So here are some photo's

Now i only need to sort out if i take a fronthitch or make the frontweight higher on the chassis.

Also need to make a new frontgril and do some work on the chassis.

Fronthitch is indeed verry nice.

Frontgril of the 3080 need to be ectended then i dont know if that is posible.

but i think i am going to try it!

looks great mate. i love to see massey builds. i was  thinking of doing a massey 3680 convo some time using the 3080 cab but dont know what chassis to use.  \

what plans do you have for the back wheels of the 3080?

I can find out for ya!  I have a feeling it is sold to be honest. Lovely looking machine though, stands really proud. Much like I reckon Johnny's model will look when it is done. Will it be on your table at Zwolle, Johnny boy? :)

Must when i come back from my vacantion this weekend make contact whit Jan for the decals of the 595 that is also almost finished only need to add the decals and the exhaust on the bonnet and some paint finishes on the rims.

Then i want to pick this model further up.

Have done a small job on this one today.

I cut of the frontweight and i put the PMA fronthitch together that i bought for this model.

And i hang it on the chasis of the 3650/3655 (not glued it yet because i need to do some more work on the chasis)

Didnt sort that out yet mate.

But i have enough time to think that trough Stil sitting at home with my kidney stone´s :'(

Sorted the gril out yesterday evening.

I tryed first the frontgril of the 3080 but that where much to small for the ROS bonnet.

So i made one my self on my milling machine (hand operated not CNC)

First i made the the nose cone (grey part of the bonnet) and then i made a plate that fits in there and milled the groove´s and the headlights in it.

Also i painted the chasis yesterday and the rims!

Photo wil be folowed later on today!

I already done a 3650 before but that where almost 4 years ago (i think ) but where never satisfied whit that one.

So i hope this one is better then te first one.

I build models only for myself because i don't have much time.

I hope that i can resincast some stuff my self in the future then it would be a litle bit easyer to do something like this twice.
