Hi everyone

    Could anyone tell me what were the rear tire sizes available on a DB995/996 please?

   

    Also could any one point me in the direction of any 1/32 scale models with the above wheel sizes I could kitbash and or a custom builder I could order them off please?

I reccon the  rear wheels on ether the UH Ford 5000 Pre Force or the OLDER Britains Ford 5000 are probably the nearest thing in 1/32 to suit. Unfortunetly classic tractors in the  50 to 70 HP mark are lacking alot in 1/32 scale.

But UH have them well covered in 1/16.

Rear tyre sizes on the 995/996 were 13.6x36 or 16.9x30.

You can buy the 36" wheels and other parts from Scaledown as their 990 is very similiar to a 995/6.

Hey Lads,

  Thanks for all the help  and the links. I'll definitely use the scaledown 990 as a a base to start off with. Just have to find something suitable for the 16.9 x 30 wheels.

just ask nigel when you ring him, he does loads of different wheels, he supplies me when i do my combine builds ,just give him the size you want and he will sort you out

He does a 16.9x30 wheel for Fords, Fordsons and Nuffields. I think he may also have done one for some limited edition Leylands.

Definitely worth talking to him.

Another option might be the rear wheels on the Britains Newfie TN75, Case JX, Steyr Kompakt. Not perfect, but close.

I am a DB fan myself and even in real life, a Ford 5000 is the closest you will get!
