Claaspower
Can anybody tell me the difference between these 2 models, both are 1/32 scale but are very different in size yet in terms of the real model there isn't that much between them? catkom3
No way are they the same scale, that Toyota should be bigger than the Disco, Regards joe.
Claaspower
That's what I was thinking but i have some other models of jeeps and cars and they were all bought in different places and all advertised as 1/32 scale I'll get some pictures up. Barry
The Toyota looks like its on the same plinth as the 1/43 Minichamp models..........can you look on the underside of the Toyota and see the scale on it? Is this it? Edited February 7, 2012 by Barry
Lady Ferguson
That's not unusual - especially with US companies, producing in China. The New Ray Landy for example is bigger than the Britains equivalent
Claaspower
You're right Barry, going through some other models I had it was printed on one of the plinths "1/43 scale" But I do know for a fact that when I bought these they were advertised as 1/32 scale,I never took much notice until I bought that Land Rover. Here's some more pictures....
Barry
I used to collect 1/43 cars until the price went above £25.00 (started off at about £15.00 for an F1 car 15 years ago!) Some of the nice 1/43 cars are £45 + now
Claaspower
I started collecting these years ago as replicas of cars I owned, which reminds me I never actually got round to getting the VW Golf ;D
ploughmaster
Definately 43rd. Wrong section perhaps??? (seeing as none of these are made by Scale Models )

Fenside MF
They are very nice models though,I've got two moving house size boxes full of boxed minichamps btcc cars and others,no idea how many I've got really
MuirHillyBilly
It reminds me of the Britains Land Rover Freelander, against the normal Landys it looks ludicrously small

I have to agree, once I eventually settled for Toyota,I've had my current one since 06 and have clocked up 135k miles and not a problem yet

Trouble free cars both of them as long as we have had em. The Mazda is on 98000 miles ,while the Corolla is at 105000. When we change again it will be the newer versions of both we will get . Diseals tough this time ,not petrol.
Leakeyvale
The cars are definitely 1:43 scale. The only model car manufacturer that produced 1:32 was Signature models and then I only ever found two - 1930's Aston Martins. Minichamps, Top Models, Spark, Bizarre, Vanguard etc are all 1:43 scale which is the "standard" for model cars.
SPN
Has anyone bought any of the Bburago 1:32 cars? I'm thinking of ordering the Landy 110 and the Golf Edition 30. The price is right, but are they close to 1:32?
