What tractors did you see today without getting photos

on the way to work this morning (not a good time to stop !)

in a relatively small field

4 Grimmes tattie harvesters pulled by new-ish MF's

with at least 3 Fastracks and a 56-reg valtra carting the boxes.

Looked like a team with their own diesel tank & support van.

In the next field was a TM-165 with another Grimmes

Sounds impressive John, especially in a smallish field...... :o :o ;)

Ricky, i have mentioned the two combines in another post, so ha!!

I'll do it Ricky why were you driving the NH, did the 6620 finally blow herself to pieces because you have her turned up too much or was the 3050 just not man enough to handle the baler :D :D

Seen loads of normal stuff but better than that, Ive just passed a field near Ashby de la Zouch with a very smokey super Q TW-35 pulling a 6f fully mounted Dowdeswell reversible. Not only that, it was followed by an 87 or 8830 with power harrow drill combo.

Proper old school farming. P P P Power!!!

6620 was gettin new boots on the rear

the 3050 , was just parked in the shed

She wasn't feeling well so i gave her the day off (she was runnning a high temperature and I didn't want to cook a new engine!! or the turbo for that matter..

:D :D

Actually what happened was the 3050 wouldn't cool herself

after that knock from the combine she's been running slightly hotter

thought nothing of it till she nearly hit the red on a 35 min journey, parked her and took her home on low lowloader behind 6620

playing her safe till i source the problem

maybe the 16.5 year old water pump or the thermostats

She'll be ok don't worry, live to fight on for another 16.5 years
