We had a few hedges needing cut around our land, we got a good deal on a Rousseau Kastor hedge cutter. Few pictures of it arriving and getting checked over.

Decided to fit it to the 7810 for the moment, we might change it over onto the T6 Golden Jubilee.

Our other T7.210 has the plough fitted.

Making out way through our silage pit, we may need to buy in some silage if it's long winter.

Thanks, yes I've changed mine around twice and have tried to stick with it. It sort of works ok but so I'll leave it how it is for now. It's amazing how much shape the display takes up, mine started as an 8x4ft sheet then I added the 6x4 ft section to it a swell for some fields.

We picked up a great deal at a local auction, which was run a few weeks back. A stunning Ford TW35 freshly restored by DM Farm Models. Few pictures of it for the moment with one of our Redrock tankers.

Managed to get the mirrors and beacons re fitted to the JCB 416S, I'm sure they will soon be removed again come silage time.

I see we have a bit of a pond formed within the last few weeks, we think its down to the heavey rain and hopefully not a burst pipe somewhere.

T6 Golden Junilee arrived into the yard today. We had also ordered a kuhn tedder, a few customers had been asking about it this year and we decided to buy one.

Thanks. Yes that's a good question. :) I really need to tone it down a little. Main fleet is made up of:

Newholland T7070,

Newholland T7.210 (x3)

Newholland TM 155 (x2)

Newholland T6.160 Golden Jubilee

Newholland 6635

Fendt 828

Ford 7810

Then restored and in the collection we have our

Ford TW 35,

Ford 7810 Silver Jubilee

and a sorry looking Ford 5000.

Our main work is contracting in the summer, then slurry and reseeding work the rest if the year.

Nice layout Wayne and some nice "blues" amongst your tractor fleet 8) looks also like you've altered your trailer fleet from the Kanes to the Redrock's and Donnelly that I see hiding in the sheds at the back?? ::). Look forward to seeing more of your layout and perhaps some more of your classic fleet too 8)

Yes well spotted, I like leaving little clues in the back ground to see if they get spotted. :) I'll up load some photos of the Redrocks arriving to the yard now. The Donnelly trailers have been around a while, they are used for a bit of donkey work and get used and abused a bit. :)

Our delievery of two new Redrock trailers arrived today from HS Farm models in Enniskillen. We decided to try out some Redrock 16ft silage trailers in 2015, we liked our Kane trailers over the years and have decided to keep one and run it with the new Redrock trailers.

I love the classic fords. That TW 35 looks a cracking model.

Thanks, yeah I'm a big Ford fan and the TW35 is up there with some of my favourite ones.

I'm going to be devil's advocate and ask why are you putting 12 tonners behind the T7.210s instead of 16 or 18 tonners?

I just fancied a change from the Britains Kane trailers, the detail of the Redrock trailers is excellent and just had to get one once I seen it. Which ended up with two being bought. :)

Or if you really want an "excuse", we work on a lot of wet ground with small fields and even smaller yards, so opting for a smaller trailer seemed a better move for us. ;)
