Popular Post tractorboyjules1977
Update from Green Hill farm , getting the nurse tank out across some of the stubbles ready for slurry ferrying next week , Got onto the some of the hilly and heavier land with the cultivator early in the week followed by the drill to get in a few acres of spring barley . Back in the yard the cows still on winter rations , but probably by next week both low and high yielders will be going out to grass , Later on in the week got a couple loads of barley straw booked in to tide our Young stock over ! 10

Stabliofarmer
Gear all looks to be running well Julian, it'll be an unusual summer ahead, have you seen more people looking for driving positions this summer than previous ones?

tractorboyjules
Been a busy few weeks at orchard hq & Green hill , 3rd cut silage complete , corn harvest finally all finished , just a few acres of beans to get off ! Autumn cultivations now underway with stubble cultivation and ploughing underway , the new MF 8s seems to be performing well , looking at possibly purchasing another soon rather than!after to fill the tractor void ! On the new arrival front the new Amazone drill turned up at the end of last week replacing our old lemken , yesterday the demo JCB came in hitched up to our new Richard larrington trailer , all ready for maize ! Foragers back in the yard for few tweaks before back in to the maize next week after some awful weather the last couple days , spud digging well underway and going well so far 6
Popular Post tractorboyjules
The weeks ending slightly damp just as we were on the last 75 acres of drilling for this year , hedgecutting started on our own grass paddocks whilst the ground was holding up well , Back at Orchard Farms HQ the 2nd new Mf 8s arrived at the beginning of last week just as the 1st one clocked up enough hours for her 1st service which was carried out by our local MST dealers ! Potatoes still going out at a steady flow up to branstons , starting to find some space in the cold store now , with the weather starting to look like it's on the change , a decision will probably be made as to when the cows come in full time ! 7
