Lady Ferguson
Thanks guys :) i think you could do a hay stack Sean, if you mark out the layers with a saw cut. cut out hollows and bumps and with a twist to the stack. mm got me thinking now. just have to wait on Mandy now Doing my best, but the supplier is still out of stock :'( :'( :'(

Deere-est
Fandabbydozey!! It looks as good as a real one, Mark. Did you chop it at all or what? I have to get a layout on the go again. Mandy has some superb items now and as soon as I saw this when she posted it a few months back I knew it would look good in a clamp. You have put the proof in the pudding. :)
Tractorman810
doesnt need chopping tris, its the same as my yellow stuff a really nice fine fiber / flock material mate, bit of that on some insulation like marks used, cut to fit a trailer and you have a load to
Deere-est
Yeah I have seen that done and it does look good. I think I'd rather chop it though for even closer realism.
Tractorman810
doubt you could cut this any finer / smaller mate its very very fine material, and all are short bits to, hard to think of anything close to it to be honest
Deere-est
How long are the fibres then mate?
Tractorman810
How long are the fibres then mate? tiny, 1 or 2 mm tops in length, like i say really hard to think of anything to compair it to, you really need to see it in the flesh to be honest, all chopping it would do is spin it round and make a mess
Deere-est
Ah I see, I thought it was like the other stuff you can get which is woolly and in much longer strands than that. Pleased to hear it is that short :)
Old Ford
yes it is very short and static, i must admit it turned out better than i expected it to. Have also had a go at covering the big britains bales, with some harvest stuff nice job not

Old Ford
Thanks Marcus , the idea has been on the back burner for some weeks. The flock on the bales is not as bright as the plastic britains bale, does need some more work.
