robbo
I use the Billy bookcases from Ikea and have the glass doors on the front, they hold a lot more than the glass cases

dwain
I have been looking at them from Argos, I am after a depth bigger then 33cm as I would like to put my combines on display as the header will not go on when the combine is on display

Plenty room for that one .. I take it yours are a lot bigger more modern ones ..
dwain
Mine are the Wiking ones, I am clearing out all my other models and just collecting Wiking but can't find anything big enough to leave the headers on the combine
Zebedee
Dwain Ikea do a range of cabinets that can be floor or wall mounted called the besta system: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/categories/departments/living_room/11794/ I have the 20cm deep ones but they also do a 40cm deep one if this is any good. You buy it in sections so can make up any combination you like.

Silver or yellow, they come on a stand. £275 though mate, bit steep, but room for headers and I have been to a local glazier and added extra shelves , so doubling capacity. dwain
That silver one could be what I am after. here are my Wiking at the moment and there all about squashed and no headers on the combines
justy 46
The pic Chris has above is a good one.. The Argos type cabinet is off to the left of the IKEA one .. gives a good idea of both side by side. I do like the IKEA one.. Seems good for the combines.. All my models are in the living room and they would get dusty very quick if just put on shelves with the kids running about and the dog haha. Just need to find something with a bit bigger depth a lot of the glass cabanets are for some reason 33cm
