Lord Ferguson
Ive just about had a week of it. Monday I stove the LoBar in good and proper, Thursday I rip my hydraulic hoses apart covering the tractor unit in oil and today. . . . TODAY I get caught by the rozzers yakking away to my hearts content on the mobile. What started with certain Careless Driving charges and an appearance in Court ended with ?60 of my hard earned plus 6 penalty points. Lesson learnt I can assure you all. Now I have a 7am tip tomorrow to make up for the downtime. Oh Tris it's not your week mate is it \ What annoyed me is the queue of people waiting to say hello and talk bo11ocks at my door this morning (AT WORK) when I'm trying to reply to my PM's and read my unreads... and bugger me it just happended again twice with this post... I want to go and live on an Island somewhere :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Light Land
That still happens on islands. What realy F ed me off today.....The guy that is helping cart bulbs, the amount of bulbs that guy spills over the sides of his trailer is unreal and to top it all off the buggar says he "never saw them" or "arh buggar them few" but since there's a zero bulbs on the ground rule I always end up stoping to pick his mess up.Would be easyer to just look over his shoulder and keep an eye on the goose neck of the digger. Gav836
yeah i noticed that on friday why we tried to look on here :D Tris, whats the law with lorry drivers and CB's then , can you get done by the rozzers for using them while driving ??? We looked into this at work Ben as we have them in all our machines, apparently as you have to actually push a button to speak it is not classed as continuous conversation so is still within the law at the minute, besides which if it wasn't they have contradicted themselves because when we move oversize vehicles now we are supposed to be in radio contact with the escort vehicle, how can you do that if you can't use them? : :D
