The 714's were 53 & 52 reg - he does run 2 or 3 716's too!

I hope you can too! Thanks SPN.

Oh I know, Nothing better! The Fendt's sounded fit too Oli!

Not too much more of a wait then, get your batteries charged, or will it be dodgy Razr quality :-\

You can put it as your background if you want CCF I'm not stopping you! I use a 2 year old Vivitar ViviCam 3765 - getting on a bit, but as you say produces great quality pics.

No not really, camera and phone is charged up ready mind and should hopefully be carting from the bigger contractors Jags soon. Will also be tedding in front of at least one Jaguar at a farm, so pics galore if were not too rushed ;) ;) ;)

looks like things are really heating up ur way luke, im praying it rains here for a least the next 12 days  ::) dat way i wont miss any before my exams finish especially our first job as the farmer always gives a very generous tip to the drivers when leaving and his wife is some cook  ;)

Don't think you'll have any bother there. The forecast is for rain for the next 8-9 days so you are talking about at least 2 weeks before any one is chopping again. :( :( No sign of anyone starting yet down in South West Wexford even thogh I was talking to a few lads who are going to cut once the weather improves again for round bale silage but this wouldn't be that heavy. For our English friends the Irish are later cutting this year because the weather was very cold with little growth for most of March and April - in fact grass has only really started to grow during the past 3 weeks and most had to graze their silage ground a few times  :(

how did i miss this topic , some great pics there luke , thanks for posting them  are there many large contractors in your area ?

James F SP drivers have cottoned on that it's easier to see whats going on when you look to your right , all your controlls are grouped there , so you naturally turn that way , remember what a pain in the neck (literally) it was to keep looking at the trailers over on your left, when using a trailed forager :-\

contractors seem to come & go round here luke , it seem just as they get the right size , they get more new kit & never seen again, it's also harder to get reliable staff during the busy periods . ,michale hine & graham farmer seem to have it worked out though as graham's got some good uptogether kit,as does mike , . Mike & graham's son, ian , married daughters(sisters) of a large dairy farmer so when things get busy , they all pull together as one team to get the job done ,when it slackens off they go back to doing their own thing . most af the small contractors seem to specialise ,so they're not in direct competition with each other  :)

unlikely luke , i know mike reasonably well but he does most of his work over the other side of the blackdowns ,as for the others i don't really get a chance to see them out & about , i'll see if i can get some pics of andrew carters gear when he's going  :)

beautiful pics luke, that harvester is the except same as the old one we had last year, i see with the new one you dont have to get in and out to fold up the wheels on the header as they are worked off hydraulic rams on the new machies, great news for us tractor drivers as our boss used always make us get out to do it usually while he was still driving as he was rushing to the next job  ::) incidently none of the major contractors down by me have pulled out yet either and with the weather the last few days its going to take a while for the fields to dry
