Popular Post tabmodels
This project has been on the shelf for a while now, hoping to get it finished soon. Straight forward Roadless axle conversion on a UH Power Major. The tricky part will be trying to match the blue that UH use on the model. I've ordered Fordson Empire Blue but it's nowhere near the same colour!
IH885XLMAN
Hi ian do you just paint the tyres in on the solid resin casts Cheers nigel
mb86
Very nice but I think your and my idea of straight forward are significantly different. 2

I usually bore out the tyre centres to fit tightly to the rim, then after spray painting them in matt black, submerge them in hot water, press fit them on to the rim and let them cool and contract around the rim.

Just a thought Ian,but Plasti Dip black rubber leaves a more realistic effect than Matt Black, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PlastiDip-Plasti-Dip-Rubber-Paint-Black-Spray-Aerosol-400ml-LARGER-SIZE/311928157080?hash=item48a05df398:m:m-VYFVLyYRrjpfQK8FZUBvw Regards Joe. 2

Popular Post tabmodels
Colour matched, thanks to a local paint specialist. These guys made up an aerosol for me in 5 mins, colour is bang on, paint is of high quality and..... dries within an hour, not 3 days! Very impressed. timf
Wow the Crouch Recovery Major is superb Ian. Even the higher headlights are in the right place! (I wonder why they were placed higher on the real thing - the original place is well out the way of the front wheels?)
