Andy
Intersting.. .thanks Andy... is that really ?3k for an industrial Ford :o - No wonder you were pleased to find the box in reasonable condition Yeh It makes serious money, not sure on production numbers on it but must be fairly small. I was told there were only 50 or so of the chrome fordsons, but perhaps nigel or another Chad valley collector may be able to give us a more accurate number. super6
I have the E1A, would like an E27N but they make to much money There was an industrial major, boxed, at Spalding a couple of years ago, I believe it was only on display though. I have never seen the little fergie before, does it steer? unlike the dexta?
Andy
I think that may have been my Dad with the industrial, although it was just the box! As far as I know, the model steers. I think its fantasic, but will make way too much money for mine or my dads budget! We are currently negotiating for the chrome fordson anyway. I thought it was an old boy who has since passed away, I'm sure his collection was up for sale a while back.
NIGEL FORD
There are 2 types of track-rod and 3 makes of tyre for the E27N: Dunlop, Firestone (both wavy-line,closed tread & Good Year -open centre V tread, like the E1A Majors). There were 2 chrome E1As at Maidstone swapmeet a few years ago...on one dealers stall and he wasn't even a specialist farm model dealer. valtra130
Hi , yes the fergie does steer , it is very realistic and works the same as a real TE20 . this tractor is excellent i managed to get one at an auction several years ago .mine is boxed but sadly the steering wheel is broken but otherwise the tractor is very good . i would like to know what linkage is on this model as mine only has a hook , but it may have had a 3 point hitch , does anybody know ?? Andy
I didnt think there was a linkage either. Does anyone have the green model boxed? unboxed? Would be great to get a full catalogue listed on here, now we have brought the topic up.

jdc
I had a grey Fergie when I was v. small but it was 'too good' to play with and lived on a (high ) shelf - it was a great model for it's time, being much better than anything else on the go. Sure it had a full linkage at rear.

Udimore
Never seen of heard of that before Andy.. how rare is it mate Looks to be in good nick as well Well its been listed in my to get list for about 5 years but must confess to have never seen one in the flesh, I am pretty sure Will has one. I hate to imagine how much its worth... knowing Andy & his Dad I expect it fell off the back of a lorry ;D
Andy
I think I have seen 5 in the past couple of years. Its believed only a few were used as promotional tools for the OEM and then the rest were prizes or awards. Certainly only a few hundred at the very most. Its not bad condition, a bit of corrosion but still nice and shiny!
