Don't know the history of this one but appeared in our yard around the time of the release of the FC1174TW. Could possibly have been the old demonstrator.

Some progress seeing as it’s rained all day! I’ve changed it slightly as I’ve decided to do the updated version with the roll frame, stepped engine cover and extra radiator intakes under the cab. I’m also making the wheels removable so that I can swap between thin or wide depending on what job it’s doing

Looks great mate. 

I remember seeing photos of a whole fleet of them fitted with goose dump trailers on a 5th wheel on the neck, then later replaced with the newer style in the china clay quarries in Devon and Cornwall. I will have to see if I can find the photos

Would have loved to have seen them working at the time but not that old 🤣 I think it was WBB that ran counties and ECC that ran Muir Hills and dumpers could be wrong 🤔

Thanks mate, funnily enough I was just looking at that first picture in a book this morning, I think I need a yellow one now with a goose neck trailer to keep it company🤣
