Siku Holmer Beet Harvester how can it be improved?

Hi,

I have the Siku Holmer Beet Harvester, and am wondering what can be done to improve on the model - its not a bad likeness but could desperately do with some super detailing.  I've painted the wheel hubs silver already, but they need the red centres as per the real thing.  There is a photo of a superbly detailed one somewhere on Farm Photo but it was only small - has anyone else made any modifications to this model?

the only thing it could really do with is better articulation , as it's pretty poor as it is , other than that maybe a set of F-P's tracks to fit ?

i wouldn't mind trying that out some time, just aint got round to getting a nice unboxed one for it

would still preffer a towed one first thought

yeah the steering is pretty poor, prob designed by an ex worker from another company

trailed version would be a lot better  :)

i think four wheel steer rather than articulation cound also be another option

Ben ,has anyone told you we don't use horses anymore , we now have tractors , like a mechanical horse sort of thing  :D
