MJB1
are the tyres plastic based or rubber ? if rubber . soak the whells in a bowl of warm water ,this gets the tyres plyable enough for removal if harder plastic based , strips of sellotape to cover the whole wheel & tyre & then with a new sharp craft knife / stanleyblade , cut around the rim & remove the center best results is to give light coats of spray every few minutes rather than brush painted look forward to seeing it finished rich , don't rush it
JC
are the tyres plastic based or rubber ? if rubber . soak the whells in a bowl of warm water ,this gets the tyres plyable enough for removal if harder plastic based , strips of sellotape to cover the whole wheel & tyre & then with a new sharp craft knife / stanleyblade , cut around the rim & remove the center Cover the wheel with Masking tape and make sure it is properly adhered too the tyres then gently trace around the ridge between the rim and the tyre using your finger nail, go around a couple of times and you should start to see the indentation your nail is creating turn into a cut...... once its all the way around just pop it out. A lot safer than using a knife! best results is to give light coats of spray every few minutes rather than brush painted look forward to seeing it finished rich , don't rush it

james f
My guess is those tyres should come off the rims with a bit of gentle persuasion, as long as you've got strong fingers. Getting them back without damaging the paint could be the difficult part though, make sure the paint is well dried ie. leave it a couple of days. If in doubt just take the tyres off and put them on again to make sure you can do it easily.
AndyB
Put your tyres on with the rim at the front then you shouldn't damage them - theoretically!
Tractorman810
other option is to total cover them in sticky tape then cut the centers out, basicly mask of the tryes, best no way you can damage the tyres or the hubs then, some of those britains tyres can be total pigs to get of easily damageing the hubs as you try, if unsure just mask the trye of and trim it with a good sharp hobby knife round the center
