Powerstarâ„¢ Posted February 5, 2007 Share Posted February 5, 2007 H-L reg is what you would be looking for, most models have high hours due to their age, there isn't much price difference between the 3050,3350 models, but there is definately a rise for the 3650, good all rounders, no doubt about that, at first the pre-cleaner,exhaust and window frame can be annoying but you just forget it's there after a days work. Definately go for a 40k'er, more expensive yeah, but then your paying for something you mite regret after! Parts are easily sourced (not often neded) and are quite cheap compared to others (look in a back issue of classic tractor,forgot which one!) they tested a Ford,JD,Massey and Case I think! Look in the price range of ?6000 - ?10.000, the lowest houred models usually come up at about 6000hours. Keep looking and tell us how you get on! Gav836 Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 There is no way I'd entertain a 61** MF, they done a lot locally here to harm MF's reputation with gearbox faults being the main culprit.
