CCF
Noticed that TTS had released pre- production prototype photos from the St. Louis Model Farm Toy Show in January's farm toy report, judging by the pre- production photos we have a couple of crackers coming our way this year. Lord Ferguson
Yep... they are G & M... surprised really... the lights were in the rear fenders on a USA spec. 165.. funny looking beast as well \
Udimore
Yes G & M dexta anyway. Personally although a different scale the Scaledown and Brian Norman models are more accurate and look better in my opinion

Definately sidelights ,no indicators would be fitted on a 165 of that vintage.
Lord Ferguson
Sorry fella's I didn't make myself clear in my haste to post... as usual What I mean;t was... the USA version DIDN'T have headlights in set in the front grill.... They were on the fenders to meet road regs over there... I think it was a distance apart thing... The lights on the UK spec 165 are most definately sidelights... those fitted with indicators were bolted to the top of the fenders... and they were blooming great round disc things... when they worked.. Lucas I believe
the other green
I'm quite shocked to see that the 165 is UK spec. I wonder how well that"ll go down in the land of the free. There isn't a UK spec one and a US spec one by any chance is there?
Lord Ferguson
I guess it will sell as well as the Ertl 135 does over here.... And I don't think that's all that good \
