richo
I like that a lot, brings back memories as it was the first decent tractor i drove. Started my tractor driving with a David Brown 885! DB was a good reliable tractor but lacked any comfort! The mirrors are spot on, what are they from, or how did you make them? Just to finish it off make a set of steps for each side. Can't wait to see it finished!
Tractorman810
whats up with the exhaust then mate, i know ours had one like that ,mind you it was on it when they bought it second hand so may not have been a origonal, but sounded sweet
Lord Ferguson
Now then Sean E Baby... Marcus is right the old devil... all the 699's I can find had a silencer box like this..
Lord Ferguson
But some of them had a rain cap instead of a cranked top piece
Tractorman810
mmm ours deff had a straght pipe with bend at the top mate, must have been an after market, prob explains why she sounded so good under load to without a scilencer on
Lord Ferguson
I think the rain cap version was the first release version mate ... heres another later model I reckon... no dates on the brochures... which doesn;t help much \ Those wheels really make that tractor now mate as well.... Sooooooooperb... I always think... right... that's definately my favourite tractor... then I look back at the others and I can never choose... I bloody love them all mate... in fact.... will you Marry Me
